Great Sound Quality, Comfortable To Wear
For devices like these I always wait a while before reviewing them to really get a feel for them. This review is written a little over one month after having used the mic every week day for work. The mic picks up my voice whether I have it clipped close to my collar or further down my chest. It also comes with its own volume up/down buttons. These buttons are controlled by the mic itself and they don't just simply send a signal to your sound card to turn up your mic volume. For example, you can set your mic volume on your sound card to 100% and still turn the mic up; I find this useful if the mic is too quiet. The lapel clip is comfortable to wear and has a slot for extra clothing to hold your collar in place if you need it. Once you clip it on, it's not moving (and I've been too lazy to take it off sometimes and have even gone running with it on my lunch break.) The mic is angled in such a way to pick up your voice well: it's angled slightly outward. Such a small detail but how many times have we used mics that are angled straight upwards, resulting in bad sound quality?Your voice is transmitted clearly and you will find that you're probably the clearest person on Zoom/Teams meetings! For example, others on the call get asked to repeat themselves quite often and I haven't been asked to repeat myself once. I will also add here that I've been using this mic for a month now in case you missed the first line of my review :).I tend to pace a lot while on meetings and this mic has never broken my signal. In fact I've taken trips all the way around my apartment while talking on it and not once have people said I've cut out (they don't even know I'm having a walkabout!)The wind screen is built well and prevents my p's from popping. It also comes with a spare wind screen should you ever need it. So, unlike competitor products where the wind screen falls off easily, this one is on securely and you can be rest assured it's not coming off unless you mean to take it off.The transmitter clips to my belt securely; the antenna is flexible so even if you're wearing it while sitting down, the antenna will kind of just move out of the way so there's nothing sticking out preventing you from sitting comfortably. If you press and hold the large button on the bottom to start/stop transmitting, the good thing is it doesn't actually mute you from the sound card. Instead, the mic itself turns on and off. So if the mic is not on you can be sure it's not silently listening. I tested this using Teams. When I switched the mic off, the Mute button on Teams still said Unmuted but the mic was off. This is exactly what I like. The battery life is about six hours and takes roughly one hour to charge to get the full six hours out of it.I've been on this mic during a thunderstorm and have been told they can hear the bass of the thunder coming through my mic. I hope that gives you an idea of how good the sound quality is.One of its only downsides is that there's no audio indication of when the mic turns on and off. So if you want to mute yourself, press and hold the large button on the bottom of the transmitter for about two seconds and hope for the best. To start transmitting again, press and hold the button for about half a second. You'll get used to the timings but it does take some guess work at first. The second downside is that while you can talk with the mic plugged in and charging, it does generate interference, and the interference is bad enough to make it impossible to hear your voice. So you can't charge it and be transmitting at the same time or you'll get poor sound quality. I just plug it in after a really long meeting so it doesn't die while we're on those ever so important business meetings!

Works better than you think.
I live in an older house and have a friend in an older apartment. I bought this for speech recordings for university because I wasn’t getting the best audio through my built in microphones.Setting it up: you open the box and there are a lot of small pieces. I didn’t look for directions which I normally do because it seemed straight forward and I realize not everyone reads them. It was really easy to setup and it all makes sense. No real guessing involved. So I tested the sound, as much as I hate my voice it picks it up clearly and even when I turn my head you can tell my head is turned but it still picks up the audio clearly. I had no issues with sound no matter where I was at and different programs let me adjust what I wanted picked up such as background noise and if I wanted different effects. The device worked with all the programs I opened on my MacBook Pro.Signal: I had no issues in these old buildings or outside. The signal was strong the entire time even with doors closed. I thought “damn you could probably use this for recording conversations a distance away and no one would know or see this little mic on me or the receiver.” The signal didn’t waver and the audio remained as if I was standing right next to my computer.Looks: the string is easy to tuck in and the receiver clips anywhere and comes with a lanyard. So in a dress I had no problems. My friend had no problems in pants and a t-shirt. It’s not super bulky or noticeable. I clipped the receiver to the back up my dress under heavy fabric and it still had a strong signal and didn’t bulk out of my dress noticeably. It just works. It looks clean.Overall it is great for the $70 price tag. I honestly would pay more for this and wouldn’t mind because it works that good. I don’t know how long it will remain this good or the lifespan but I will update with regular use when it breaks. If you’re in between other products this would be a good contender.

Clear audio
I'm a technical trainer and use MS Teams to record training sessions while teaching in front of a class. This mic works very well for picking up my audio clearly while moving around a training room. Range is good, signal is solid and audio is clear. The only thing I'm a little disappointed in is battery life (which is why I gave it four stars rather than five). I often teach all day classes and even if I plug the mobile unit in during lunch it may die before the end of the day (depending on how long lunch is for charging time). I may be asking for too much, but when I'm teaching I want to be concentrating on teaching, not on whether my mic is still working or not. I like "fire and forget" stuff where I turn it on in the morning and don't need to think about it again until the day is done. This isn't that. But for people who only need something for shorter periods...say 4 hours at a time, this would work very well.
