Stylish and feels solid. The TSA keyhole is a nice touch. I have two issues with this product:1) The method of setting the new code is awkward because you have to use a pen to depress the silver button on the bottom while spinning the dials simultaneously.2) This lock is EXTREMELY easy to pick. I would have given 4 stars if it weren't for this. I've never picked a lock and I could pick this in under a minute. Simply press a pen against the silver button on the bottom. Start by spinning the top dial until you feel a click. That is the top number. Do the same for the middle. Stop depressing the pins. Spin the bottom wheel until you are able to open the lock. This is such a bad security flaw that I, an average person with no lock cracking experience, was able to figure out.

I spent the morning testing my combination before a big trip, and it worked GREAT.HOWEVER- when I got to my hotel room, late at night, trying to unlock my luggage, it did not work. I couldn't open it. The combination would not work. I tried the combination I used in the morning (when it worked SO well), nothing. I tried to move the little numbers a little to the left or right trying to get it to where I could open the thing. Nothing.I tried to see if they had customer service that could direct me on how to possibly get this to unlock. They were only able to be contacted via email. Not exactly ideal when you need to get into your suitcase.I ended up having to go to a hardware store and buying wire cutters. Needless to say, the wire cutters are VERY EFFECTIVE at getting this lock to unlock. Would not use or buy again due to the angst and stress it caused.

I learned my lesson on a trip earlier this year when my older, non-TSA locks were cut on a domestic flight. A friend showed me her locks and how TSA can open them with a key. So I purchased these just for peace of mind. Not too much I can say about them except that if TSA wants to look in your bags, they will open your locks one way or another, so might as well have these.UPDATE 07/01/2017: I am not changing my rating as I really don't know what happened but I now no longer use these locks, or any others, when I travel as there is no point. On my last trip my bags arrived without the locks! The only thing I can think is TSA either stole them, forgot to put them back on after opening, or didn't lock them securely. But as both locks went missing I can only guess. I mentioned this to other traveling friends who told me they no longer bother with using locks at all as nothing is secure. Don't pack anything you can't afford to lose. Make sure you have good travel insurance. That's the best you can do!

Planned to try use it at the small gym locker yesterday. Glad I tested it first in my hand at home, before locking up my clothes and valuables -- the lock did not reopen!!!! It's now permanently locked, and does not open either with 000 or with my own code. Obviously very secure.

I bought this obviously to use as a luggage lock, but also for a different yet similar reason. I'll be studying abroad in a few months and I'll be traveling all over Europe. Obviously, there's the possibility of being pick-pocketed, and no matter how hard you try sometimes life happens. I bought a sling-backpack to wear as a replacement for my purse and overnight bag, and I wanted to put my more valuable items in there like my Ipad and important documents. Even though sling-bags are overall harder to have snatched, people could still stand behind me and zip open my bag and steal whatever they wanted. This lock provides the perfect solution to that, and I really don't care that it makes me look more like a tourist. It tells them that I'm not an easy target. It can lock the two zippers on the bigger pocket on the bag, as well as the middle pocket's zipper, effectively giving me two secure pockets to put items. You can see in the photo that it is easily achievable with the flexible cable. The cable itself seems very sturdy and would prove to be difficult to cut through for any pick-pocket. They would need a good set of wire cutters to get through it, though I'm not entirely sure how difficult it would be because I'm not going to try and cut this lock. Though, I would imagine it would take a bit effort, during which I would notice that someone was messing with my bag.As for the lock itself, it seems well constructed and hefty. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. It's a nice size and it's also very sleek looking. Not really important but adds a nice touch. It's small, but not too small. I added a few photos to show what it looks like open and closed, as well as a size comparison with a Sharpie. I definitely recommend this lock for anyone using it as a luggage lock, or as a backpack lock, or any type of lock. I will be using it on my checked bag during my flight to Europe, so hopefully the TSA doesn't just cut it off since the TSA symbol is hard to miss, and is on both sides of the lock.

We originally ordered a set of 4 travel locks. They look good. Sturdy. We would buy them again, but not from this supplier. Customer service was the ultimate issue. The locks came with instructions for resetting the combination, along with written assurance from the supplier that they would replace any lock without cost if we had a problem. When 1 of the 4 locks would not open after we attempted to reset the combination, we emailed the supplier -- twice -- to get an exchange. No response. So we contacted Amazon and got the supplier's phone number. Left a message (on an automated google voice account). Again, no response. Back to Amazon, who stepped up and sent a new lock, or rather asked us to order another single lock and then refunded the purchase price. A lot of trouble for me and for Amazon, but the supplier was completely unresponsive to our needs. As a final bit of irony, the supplier sent us an email asking for a review of the most recent single lock purchase. So here it is. Overall, a frustrating experience.

Good quality locks. I selected the orange colors specially to show that I have got a lock on my luggage. Cord is strong and flexible good for soft bags like what I am using.

It's good to stop thifes from opening my backpack

Sturdy enough locks. Feel solid. The cable is handy for those occasions when a fixed shackle is awkward. I doubt they offer major security but are ideal for day bags where you just want to make it harder for someone to open them.

I now have four of these, they are great on suitcases or hold alls. They are essential if you are going to the USA.
