Definitely not for people who want to be able to blend and layer colours. The pencils are comfortable to use, but require quite a lot of pressure to produce vibrant colours. The leads, every now and then, have a hard chuck in them that just scratches the paper. The drawing pencils, on the other hand are wonderful. With a wide variety of leads, from F to 8B, and the case is of good quality. If you're just starting to use pencils, or prefer block colour, then these are the pencils. For the price they are in all a good deal

I bought this as I now have a number of colouring books and only the kids colouring pencils and pens.This set is excellent. It comes in a robust case, the contents of which match the product description. The pencils, all pre-sharpened are lovely to use with a great range of colours.I can highly recommended this set, especially at the budget price.

As a person who is learning sketching for my own amusement, this set seems the perfect starting kit. Apart from the pencils there is an eraser, knife and even sandpaper. I have no means of comparison, but the colours blend well and I have had no leads breaking as yet. The case is also well made and overall very good value for money all round.

I am new to this brand and I couldnt be more delighted to have found them I love the colours the pencils are easy to keep sharp. The colour lays on the paper beautifully and using the pencils is a pleasure. They are very smooth to use and not at all scratchy on the paper.

Lovely Christmas present

Bought for my daughter. She is delighted with the set. For her they are perfection in pencils. Recommended. She uses this all the time for drawing and colouring, has everything she could possibly need. Would recommend this product.

This case is just packed with pencils of alsorts of colours. I gave them as a gift and she was really happy.Only negative was there was a glue stain but i think she managed to remove it.
