PROFOUND . . . . EVEN INDISPENSIBLE
As the introduction explains, this was the life work of Professor Kuntz, which was thoughtfully and lovingly reduced by its editor to almost 1/10 its original girth. From my first perusal of the work, obtained from a local theological seminary, I could see that this is a uniquely profound evaluation of God's timeless ten words. Accordingly, its principle value is in helping readers to understand and appreciate the magisterial character of the trajectory of Mosaic Law, as opposed to the popular conception of arcane time-bound "do's-and-don't's." In my view, no study of the meaning and value of the Ten Commandments is complete without Kuntz.
