This round 27" grate appears to be well built and fits perfectly in my 28" fire ring.

I ordered this for my pit to bring up the height of my fire bed. At first I was put off by the higher price but I’m glad I pulled the trigger. Showed up fast, solid steel construction all welded. Definitely worth the price, should last a long time, if you are on the fence you should go for it, won’t be disappointed.

Had o replace first shipment because legs were poking through the box and were damaged. Amazon shipped replacement quickly and new one was undamaged. Some styrofoam material inside is warranted.

I used this in my fire pit. No complaints. Perfect size and great quality.

Prior to this purchase I had a smaller 4 legged rectangular grate. Within 2 years it basically melted. The legs didn't even rest on the ground, the center of the base formed a deep belly that rested on the ground. It was time to seek a replacement.I came upon this firegrate and was impressed with the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I also liked the round design, much better for my round outdoor fire pit. I was very impressed with the product. It appears to be sturdy and well made. It fit perfectly!I used it for the first time last night. The fire was great, it burned better and less smokey being elevated off the ground. The paint burned off but that is to be expected, the company even tells you that will occur after the first use.I strongly recommend this product for those who may be on the fence. It's a sturdy high quality product at a very reasonable price. Winter is coming!!
