Solved my monitor stand tilt issue
I have a dual monitor stand set up with two fairly heavy monitors -- a 24 inch Wacom Cintiq and a 24 inch LG QHD. Between the two of them, they were putting a strain on the c-clamp of the stand I had bought on my poor ikea tabletop. The pole had a bunch of wiggle and no amount of clamp tightening would fix it. This reinforcement plate immediately fixed my issues. It spread out the load of the clamp over a wider surface area. It worked perfectly and couldn't have been simpler to put in place. As far as size, it's a nice wide plate with a classy bevel on the front. It doesn't look out of place or like a piece of sheet metal without thought. It's also y'know, a steel plate. It's incredibly dimensionally sturdy, which is exactly what you're looking for in something designed to distribute the weight of a c-clamp stand. I highly recommend.

Monitor mount did the job for mr
I purchased this to be able to hold 2 1080p monitors onto my standing sit down desk and it worked perfect. The item attaches with clamps to the top of a table. There needs to be a lip of some kind on the desk that is narrow enough for the clamps to clamp down on. I have had it for several years at this point and it still functions and holds up fine. The item allows you to free up real estate on your desk so you can utilize it for other things. The adjustment arms flow for you to move the monitors around in a variety of different variations crating a lot of versatility in tou configuration. The monitor arms seem stable and are able to hold mid size monitors fine. Having larger monitors could present a problem but I believe the item listing states the size of monitor that it can accomodate

It's a metal plate, hard to mess that up and they didn't.
When you're mounting a monitor stand to your desk, especially when it's glass, you just need a metal plate. This product is just such a metal plate. There's a plate for the top of your desk and one for under, and a gasket to put under the top plate between the metal and your desk top. Sure, you could go buy a piece of metal and paint it black, or maybe you have something laying around that would do the trick. I used a metal clipboard for a while. But this is cheap, it looks nicer, and I feel better about it than I do with some janky clipboard pinched on my desk.

Highly Recommend, but is it Worth It?
I decided to purchase two monitor arms for my setup, as I wanted more space on my actual desk and more freedom to move my monitors. However, my desk was very expensive and I was afraid of the weight potentially digging into my desk and damaging it. I purchased these along with the monitor arms from the same company, as I heard good things about the quality of the arms, and I trusted buying these since they were from a reputable brand. It is super simple, just two pieces of metal that fit onto the desk and just disperse the pressure of the weight onto the desk. The first thing I noticed was how heavy the actual plates are, coming in at around 4 pounds for two plates. It didn't bother me, but it was just strange how much it actually took. Regardless, the heavier plate rests on top of the desk with an adhesive pad underneath to assure it sticks to the table. On the bottom, the next piece is placed in between the clamp and the desk. Assembly is tricky and tedious, but not hard at all if you have the motor skills above a 4th grade child. It is just a bit challenging to place the bottom piece where it needs to go without it falling, while juggling the clamp for the monitor arms. It works well and it does as it is advertised. Overall I am satisfied with how it works. I have only two main complaints about the unit. Firstly, the pads are pretty big. I knew that it would take a good portion of my desk economy, but I had no clue how much it truly would be. Don't get me wrong, it is much more space than it would have been if I didn't use the monitor arms, and used the stands that came included with each monitor. However, they are still decently big, leaving little space on a thin desk. If you have a bigger desk than it is no problem, but thinner desks like mine will see varying results. It isn't a big deal, still plenty of space, but they most likely could have used smaller pads, but I could understand if someone used two monitor arms for one pad. I have two monitor arms, but I use two different pads due to how spread out I like the arms. The other issue I had was the price of the monitor arm. For $25, you're getting two slabs of metal and some adhesive pads. It isn't a rip off by any means, rather it is probably a bit more expensive than it should be. Again, I would rather pay the difference than potentially get something that would warp or crack my desk. My overall thoughts, I have had the plates for a month, and they work tremendously. I don't see any warping of the desk or damage, so they work. I give four stars because they work, and they do it well. If they could make a model that is slightly smaller and cheaper, then this would be an easy 5 stars, but it isn't unfortunately. No matter what I say, the difference is worth it in the long haul, taking care of every portion of your computer setup is important, including both the desk and your monitors.

Valuable addition for anyone using monitor arms
I recently added the HUANUO Steel Monitor Mount Reinforcement Plate to my setup, and it has significantly improved the stability of my dual-monitor arm on a glass desk. The installation was straightforwardโsimply attach the anti-slip pads to the plates, position the larger plate on top of the desk, and the smaller one underneath, then secure the clamp. This reinforcement plate effectively distributes the weight of the monitors over a larger surface area, preventing any potential damage to my fragile desk. Since adding it, I've noticed no indentations or warping, even after extended use. The steel construction is solid and durable, providing peace of mind that my monitors are securely mounted. Overall, this reinforcement plate is a valuable addition for anyone using monitor arms on thin or glass tabletops.

Five years later, still going strong
After watching a friend's ikea desktop split in half mid-gaming session, I figured it couldn't hurt to try and distribute some of the weight when mounting my monitors. Nearly 5 years and an upgrade to larger monitors later and they're still keeping my desk in one piece. They fit great and the construction is incredibly sturdy. Top plate was super easy to install and the bottom only took a few seconds to line up given how heavy/solid they are.

MUCH stronger than expected!
I am using this reinforcement plate kit to mount a bench vice onto a 1.75" thick block of plywood so that I can move the vice to where I need it. This plate will keep the vice from digging into the wood and loosening over time. I drilled 3 holes through the plate to mount the vice. I only used the larger rounded plate. These plates are thicker, stronger, and more rigid than I was expecting (that's a good thing.) It was somewhat difficult to drill through (also a good thing.) The finish on the metal is excellent and did not crack, chip, or peel when drilled through. Two non-skid pads are also included with the two plates in the kit. This is an excellent product, and well worth the money TO ME. It will definitely work well for it's intended use to support a monitor mount. I would purchase this exact kit again without any reservations. With all of the cheap junk coming from PRC, this was a very nice and welcomed surprise!!

Kept monitor/stand very sturdy in precut desk holes
My L-shape desk has pre-cut holes for cords/wires. The monitor stand mounted perfectly into these holes while leaving space for cords to run through. I initially mounted it with my 24" monitor, however, found that the tension to the table -- although somewhat sturdy, seemed best supported with this support bracket. Attached are pictures both before and after the support bracket, so that you can see the space and placement. Note that I used the support bracket differently -- I placed the flat panel on top of desk and the other panel turned upside down placing it on bottom of desk whereby my deskโs thickness is 1โ thick. This is super sturdy and really does distribute the weight keeping the stand in a solid position. Very happy with this product that I purchased 2 stands and 2 support brackets -- for use in each of the pre-cut holes in my L-shaped desk. I purchased the product not knowing if this mounting option was possible and was so glad it worked for me. I hope this review and the pictures help other customers.

Perfect for glass table tops
I wanted to keep my glass top standing table but the glass is thin (1/4") and not really a great idea to mount a c-clamp dual monitor arm stand to the table. But I wanted to do it anyway. This Steele reinforcement was perfect for the job! It added some girth to the table for the clamp, and made it easy for me to take the pressure off the very small area the c -clamp applies pressure to. Additionally, I placeted the bottom plate on top of the tables metal skeleton under the glass, giving it more support to not shatter my glass table top! Works like a charm and I got to have my cake and eat it too!

Does the job, it should be standard with all screen clamp
Good product, I like that the bottom plate is almost the same size as the top, so its very solid. I also like the that the metal plate is thick enough to be very rigid, but not too much so it doesn't bother the working area. Perfect to reinforce cheap and thin desks, makes it very solid now.

Sturdy Support
I have a pretty thin work desk from IKEA at only about 1/2โ thick MDF and was worried that a monitor mount holding my 34โ widescreen would potentially crack the MDF. This is a really simple and well made solution from Huanuo. The steel plates are heavy and robust and the design is aesthetically minimalist. It also has nice soft padding you can install between the plates and your desk. Overall 10/10, I canโt think of anything Iโd change about the design.

4 stars altought it didnt work
I bought this knowingly that it might not work. I wanted to mount a tripled monitor mount on a IKEA linmon. Linmon is bassicly cardboard so i needed to spread the weight. This is very sturdy and would work for most situation. But for triple 27'' monitor mount and screens its just not big enough. Would recommend for a single monitor mount on a LINMON or anything that isnt a cardboard top.

Great quality - would buy to protect your desk.
I had clamps on my desk for my monitors and microphones. They all tear and dig into my table in order to stay sturdy. With this plate, it made sure that it doesn't go and ruin my table. I would highly recommend anyone that's getting a monitor stand to get these plates so they don't break into your desks due to weight and long usage.
