Box of 16" Long Black Walnut Boards. Rustic Wood for Crafts

I’m now on my 5th box and very happy with the quality of the pieces. Yes some are smaller, but most are 2” or larger and will look great when finished.

We purchased two boxes of the rustic Walnut . The description stated that all pieces would be about 16"x about 2" x about 3/4" . virtually none of the wood could be considered rustic with almost no sap wood, knots cracks or figuring and almost 40% of the would was less than 1 1/2" with a significant amount be only 1" wide. Very disappointed that the description isn't even close. Could have just saved the wait and pick up claro walnut at the lumber yard for about the same price.In addition, the description states you will get a box full measuring 18" x 14" x 6" or 1512 cubic inches. we ordered two boxes and got approximately 1600 cubic inches or 53% of what we should have. Not at all as described!

Most are 2 x 3/4, three 2 1/2 , maybe 4 1 x 1 .About a dozen contained the center of tree or branch. Most knots are pretty, only one thru hole, all S4S. Just being fair. I am happy with purchase and might do it again.

I think that you'd need to have a specific purpose in mind when using these, but they worked great for my projects, and they were a great value!

Most of the wood was straight and free of defects after some sanding/planing. Cutting board turned out great. I will be buying again in the future 5 starts.

The media could not be loaded. Most of the pieces were useable but a couple were not. The length was perfect on the useable pieces. I got good use on most of the pieces but I would not buy this assortment again.

It was exactly as described. Any wood "imperfections" were a non issue for my intended use. I will definitely order again from this vendors similar offerings on future projects.

not at all what was pictured, box full of maple, some cherry, and 2 pieces of walnut and none of it was rustic. save your money.
