Very impressed!
Always wanted a chronograph but frankly couldn't justify the cost. So, when I ran into this for about $30, I read the reviews and figured for the price worth trying it out. Unfortunately I've had it sitting since last December and finally found the time to try it out. The instructions it came with are a bit odd. It did come with an English manual but definitely written by an engineer =). Once you understand that, the manual makes sense. Also, it's actually easy to use, so that's a nice plus. I very much like the fact that the values etc reset each time it powers on, which leaves less chance to error for me. Want to add that I was pleasantly surprised how well the battery kept its charge since it arrived in December and that being about 4 months! The manual says you should cycle the battery every 3months if not in use, so I'll start doing that.I tested the chronograph on a Hatsan Jet-1. And it work flawlessly! The only thing i needed to do, since it boots up in mps (meters per second) was to push the button once so I can switch it from reading mps (meters/sec) to fps (feet/sec). And that was it! It metered perfectly & all with specs. As I said earlier, I always wanted to use a chronograph and for around $30 got one that works perfectly for my use!The only downside I could add is, if you iron sights or a top mounted laser sight etc, the way the unit sits above the barrel your sight/laser will be blocked. Again, for me, that's not an issue because I only use it to meter shots which can safely be done without having to sight in anything. Haven't tried it on anything scoped so if your scope sits high enough it might work while you sight & shoot down range. Again, I don't use it that way.All in all, ai highly reccommend this chronograph for the price! I've even seen where some folks will put a small block between the two sensors to prevent you from shooting one out, which I may do down the line. Also, I put some shrink tubing on the metal horseshoe clamp so as not to scratch the barrel. All that is 100% optional if you like tho.Works great, good battery life, wasy to use and great price for good working Chronograph! Lastly, the size of it being so small is frankly fantastic too!

Small, cheap, gets the job done
Got this to tune my PCP rifle. I couldn't justify buying a high end chrono for one rifle so I got this. I honestly did not expect much from it and was planing to just borrow a buddies when it didn't work. When it (finally) arrived I thought I was correct in my low expectations. It is small, very light, and looks like it was just thrown together out of parts laying around. It feels like it could fall apart in your hand. After using it I changed my mind. I haven't used it a lot so far, but it seemingly works well. It only missed 1 reading out of about 50 shots and all the readings seem spot on. It being rechargeable via usb is nice as well. I was blown away that this half priced chrono from china worked as well as it did. It's not all great. The thing does feel like could break at any moment. Made of cheap thin plastic bolted onto what looks like a circuit board. The shipping took forever (to be expected when shipping over seas). The clamps are bare metal with sharp corners, it will scratch your barrel if you don't do something about it.The clamps will not work if you have a modulator or any other sort of flash hider, had to tape it to the end on mine. The instructions are crap. Putting it into FPS mode wasn't clear. Directions just tell you to turn it on and hit the button but if you don't wait for FPS to show up first it won't change. I'm not even going to try to set it up for FPE, good luck to anyone who tries.I do wish that the reading would stay on a second longer. Sometimes I would miss the reading because it goes to looking for the next reading quite fast. You can view the readings after shooting by hitting the button, but it is kind of a pain. Most of these negatives are not that bad and can be fixed. I feel it is worth it for the price, if you are getting it for an air rifle. I wouldn't buy this if your trying to chrono a bow/crossbow (where would you mount the thing) or firearm with any sort of power (I don't feel confident it could take the recoil).Update:Used it the one day and it would not give a reading. Could not figure out what was wrong until I started shooting in the shade, turns out this thing really hates it when it is bright out. I taped a box around the thing (to block any light) and I haven't had a problem since. This doesn't change my score but I figured I would mention it.

Perfect!
Note: the product is extremely simple to use and understand, im not sure where the negative reviews are coming from regarding that aspect. Hold button to turn on device, wait until display shows "--", device now ready for measuring. Default unit is MetersPerSecond. To switch to FPS instead, turn on device, once display shows "FPS" press the button again immediately. It will flash indicating it switched. It defaults when you turn off, but it only takes a second to do.For the device itself, readings are consistent and seem accurate, it does feel a bit fragile but for the price im thoroughly impressed. Seller is fantastic too, i accidentally broke it (use the barrel clamp!!!) but seller was kind and offered a replacement

No auto recording of shot strings
Likes: portability, small size, accuracy, rechargeable lithium battery, multiple ways to attach it to an air gun, fpe readoutDislikes: must mannually record shot strings, must write down shot strings, no audible readout of resultsFor the price and what it is, you can't beat this little chrony. Very good device to tune an air gun for under $35. I would definately buy again. I had a cadwell chrony, but it was combersome to set up, didn't always record a shot in sunlight, batteries that had to be replaced and could never get their software to work. The software was glitchy to the oint of being useless on an android phone

Works, but instructions are semi worthless
Well, it does take accurate speed, but I still haven't figured out how to change the speed readings from Metric to FPS. Apparently you need to push a button a few times when turning it on, but I still have not figured it out. The instructions are so vague, it's laughable. I'm only keeping it because I'm sure I can find some sort of demo on Youtube or somewhere else.
