Unisex VE 7008 Oval Polarized Aviator Sunglasses, Turtle

Great for cheaper sunglasses ..used on Sandia and ski Santa Fe for 2 years now but don't like "tortoise shell" as mush as solid color.

The Vuarnet lenses provide a clearer,sharper view[ in all types of light conditions] than other manufacturers' products[re;LUENXThat is a fact Jack!

Vuarnet should be embarrassed to put their good name on these sunglasses. I have been wearing their PX series for 25 years and these are a huge disappointment. 1. The frame conducts light... when wearing them there is so much light running thru the frames it is distracting and pulls your eyes to the frame rather than the lens. 2. The lenses are thin cheap poly and are near impossible to clean. They had dust on them when they arrived and had to use soap and water and then a lens cloth just to get a clear view. 3. The frame does not wrap to the curvature of the face and lots of light seeps thru the sides. The blinders on the side and top are solid plastic and do not seal out any light whatsoever. Overall a cheap flimsy pair of glasses. I would not call them "Extreme". Amazed at the list price of $139.99. Amazon sold them at 39.99 but really better off with a 20 dollar pair of Foster Grants. Or pay for a real Vuarnet with real glass lenses and proper frames.

These are NOT Vuarnet sunglasses, they are Vuarnet Extreme sunglasses, no relation to Vuarnet at all. True Vuarnet sunglasses all have mineralized glass lenses with the traditional V on a ski logo laser etched in to each lense.

While the optical quality is good, lenses tend to pop out.
