Decent tamper for the price, works well with my machine
got this as a small upgrade for my espresso setup and it’s done the job nicely. The 51mm size fits my machine’s portafilter just right and it’s made tamping much easier and more consistent. It’s got a good bit of weight to it so you don’t have to press too hard and the handle is comfy to hold. The aluminium alloy feels strong and well made, not cheap or flimsy. It’s not the most premium tamper out there but for this price you can’t really complain. Great if you’re just getting into making espresso at home or want something simple that works. It’s helped improve the shot quality a bit and feels much better than the plastic one that came with the machine. Definitely worth picking up if you’re into home brewing.

Who knew....
I never realised I needed a coffee tamper, but apparently I do! This is a nice solid piece of kit. Heavy polished alloy, fits my espresso machine's coffee portafilter perfectly and compresses the coffee really well. Much better than the plastic one I've previously been using. A good quality coffee helps and, it may be psychological, but I think the taste of the coffee is so much better since I've started using this. 5 stars.
