Works great for my husband’s neck issue
My husband does not have a shoulder problem per se but rather a neck problem. He has herniated discs, chronic tendinosis, and chronic migraines which are greatly exacerbated by his sleeping position. He has a wandering arm which he flings up over his head while he sleeps, and he then wakes up in severe pain. After trying numerous things to get him to stop doing this in his sleep or to get relief some other way, we tried this. It works great. He feels silly strapping it on every night but it has really helped his neck. It is adjustable in every dimension with Velcro. Probably it will will get old and worn and the Velcro won’t work after while, but so far so good, and it was cheap and we can buy another later when necessary. It has been 1-2 months of nightly use. It does unfortunately contribute to a bit of a heat rash on his belly, but that is improving with talcum powder use and is not a deal-breaker.

More comfortable post-op than a sling
Used after rotator cuff surgery. Comfortable and far better than a sling with a strap that can irritate your neck over time. I liked that I could use the wrist strap, but if I wanted to stretch out my elbow/straighten my arm for a bit, I could undo that and with the arm strap still keep my bicep held tight against my side and my shoulder static. The velcro attachments are good quality (they hold well). Comfortable to wear for longer periods. Easy to put on by yourself (after a little practice!)

Not for sleeping
This was replacing the cheap mesh sling the ER provided for a dislocated shoulder. It's definitely more comfortable, easier to put on, and allows use of the forearm/hand. It is NOT good for sleeping because it's too stretchy at the bicep and the Velcro is easily undone when you're half asleep trying to get comfortable in bed. Have woken a few times with the chest band completely undone or slid up allowing my bad arm to be extended up way too high. Works fine when you're awake as a reminder of your injury.

Relieves pressure from shoulder pain
I got this because I have a pinched nerve in my neck that is causing shooting pain down to my fingers. Wearing this takes all the strain my arm puts on my shoulder to relieve this pain enough for me to be able to function and get through my day. I wouldn’t be able to leave the house without this! It is also so much easier to use than the sling type and puts no extra pressure on my neck/shoulder.

Keeps arm down
I have a frozen shoulder and not a busted arm. I didn't need something with a hand sling, but I got this one anyway. This was my 5th shoulder-type purchase and I will not return it. This is perfect for sleeping & driving; keeps my arm from sudden movement. I was not sleeping until this strap. The woman in the photo has the velcro strap under her breasts and that's not really possible. You gotta strap across for the arm to sit straight down (a man is flat chested, of course), but it's NOT cumbersome to do so. The arm velcro strap can scratch IF you don't close it right. It will not pinch the crook of your arm if it's in the right spot (hence what I just said about where the chest strap is set). You are in pain and everything fng hurts, but I highly recommend this strap to help get thru it.

Does exactly what I needed
After shoulder surgery to reattach a tendon to bone I was told to wear a sling for 6 weeks. After 2 weeks my neck was killing me from the sling. I created my own version of this with a wrist brace and a back brace. When my wife saw it, she said I should patent it. I said it has likely already been done. So I looked on Amazon and here it is.A bit scratchy around the arm cuff if you don't have a long shirt on. I just put an armband, cut from an old sock, under it. Now it is perfect.

Not good for my broken shoulder.
It made the pain in my broken shoulder much worse. May work better for others. Not for me

MIA, FINALLY SHOWED UP
This thing went missing in transit/delivery but finally showed up. By the time I received this my injury recovered in one way but progressed in another direction (semi dislocation-frozen shoulder😑)But. What is interesting to note is the position of the wrist area strap is wrong. If you wrap the upper arm. In order to wrap your wrist, your arm would be raised forward at the elbow and then downwards to wrap the wrist. It was painful. It wasn’t correct. Even if you do loosen or tighten the chest band. The angle is just wrong. The wrist area should be velcro bracelet that you can just stick to the chest strap where it feels right. Not everyone’s mobility is the same. And this was maybe for someone taller? Longer limbs maybe? But for me I couldn’t wear it. Thankfully amazon had refunded me anyways for this earlier.I will donate this a physio place so maybe someone that cannot afford can be offered this if needed. It is very comfortable material. Well made too. But I advise try it before return window closes.

Bon produit
