VIAHART Swimming Kickboard | One Size Fits All | A Great Training Aid for Children and Adults

This was advertised as appropriate for adults. However, It simply isn't thick enough or large enough for an adult to use. Because of its thinness (or other defects), it immediately sinks when an average size adult places any weight or pressure on it. Thus, if one is using it to practice various swimming strokes (as advertised), but the device immediately sinks when an adult puts any pressure on it, how is this functional--or of any use? If you weigh more than 120 lbs, I would strongly discourage you from purchasing this item. It will not be of any use to you in a swimming pool. Honestly, none whatsoever! So disappointed in this product and the company who misrepresented it.

I recently moved to a condo with a pool, so over the summer I can skip the fitness center and swim at home. Since I like to mix up my lap swimming with fins and a kickboard, I ordered the VIAHART based on reviews and the low cost. It works great! The photo doesn't show it, but you can push out two curved pieces toward the top to slip your hands into while you kick. It makes it more comfortable for me and is easier on my aging shoulders. Would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Perfect!I've been thus far pleased with this purchase. The VIAHART kickboard is not only lightweight foam for ease of transportation and comfort, but is also durable and easy to use.I've taken it out with me on my laps in my lake so that I can do greater distances during my swim workout. I take it for safety insurance when i'm far out in the middle of the lake. I like to place it under my body while I do regular swimming strokes, this way I can still work out my arms as well as my legs as if in a normal swim but with the insurance that I have something to keep me a float if I tire too far from shore. I can use it under my stomach or back with ease.That's one method of use. Or use it as it's designed for. You can even for fun of just floating in the water sit on it steadily without difficulties. (I'm 5.2ft tall and weigh 108.2-110 lbs.) It's as fun as it is useful.It comes as one whole piece but if you wish you can punch out the grip holes. I haven't punched them out because for my purpose I want to keep the arrow dynamic ability to cross water with greater ease and not have the punch holes catch water to slow my speed or ability to use it as I do as most of the time I use it it's fully submerged. I'm overall happy with it and I see why it has such good ratings. I'm glad that I selected this VIAHART product when I was looking for a kickboard.

I purchased this after having a hip surgery for aqua therapy. Didn’t work quite for what I needed it for....BUT, I use it for a garden stoop. It’s perfect for kneeling when pulling weeds or planting. Sounds strange-but it works awesome!

It is a perfect kick board for learning and practicing swimming techniques. Many decades ago, I was a swim instructor. Now I'm teaching my wife to swim, and this is useful.The size, shape, and bouyancy are just what I wanted. A benefit, according to the company, is that the board is fabricated from non-carcinogenic materials.

Excellent, my daughter wouldn't put it down she loves it so much! And I love the fact that it doesn't hold any water for quick drying!

It has a strong chemical smell. I don’t know whether it is safe to use. Have to put it in the yard and I will see whether the smell would go away.My son loves red so I ordered a red one. But this red is not very deep or dark red. I worry whether it would fade the red into a pinkish color after using it several times.————————After using it for 6 months, the red color stays as red and it is easy to use. The chemical smell goes away after using it a couple of times. So I add one more star.

This is a great kickboard. I was so pleased that this is sturdy and bouyant for someone like myself, a senior just learning to swim.In the picture it appears as if it could be for a child, but I liked the price so I decided to go for it. I was pleasantly surprised to see its the samesize the swim teams use at the aquacenter.My greatest fear has been going underwater until I get used to it. I go to an aquacenter which has lots of accessories but none of theirkickboards have these great handles which were good to help me overcome fear of losing my grip. Plus it matches my new purpleswimsuit. If anything ever happened to it, like getting lost or left behind. I would purchase the exact same kickboard.
