I was worried about trying a magnetic phone holder but I've been using it for about a month now and not once has the phone fallen of the holder - even when going over a big bump. The magnet is so slim it fits inside my phone case. The holder has some kind of sticky gel on the bottom that keeps it from falling off the dashboard. My old holder used to pop off all the time because the suction wasn't strong enough. This was a welcome change! I love this holder so much I'm buying one for my husband too.

The magnets are strong and the suction pad works great. I love it for how useful it is, however I didn't rate it 5 stars because the swivel head on my unit doesn't stay tight. It seems to loosen every time a phone gets pulled off. Otherwise it's a great tool, I'd recommend it.

My iPhone 6 Plus would not stay stationary. It would rotate around the magnet and eventually pop off. I tried repositioning, redistributing weight and magnet. In the end, it just wasn't strong enough. At one point, the phone fell off while I was driving and could have been damaged by my feet. Considering there weren't really instructions with the packaging, I can't say if I followed to the letter, but I have had car mounts before and this one didn't do it's job. Also, the suction cup came off quite a few times when it was empty. My previous mount had no problem staying in one place.I am giving this two stars because I'm am giving the benefit of the doubt that this could actually work with a smaller, lighter phone. But if you have an iPhone plus (with a slim case), you might want to reconsider.

This thing sucks. The suction cup absolutely does not work and fell off within seconds. I did have another windshield mount that I thought I could frankenstein together, but no such luck. I really like the idea of the magnet mount because it's so much easier to put on and take off, but after this experience, I'm going to go with what I had earlier, the nice sticky mount with button release clamps to hold the phone in place. Avoid this piece of garbage at all costs.

I give this product 3 stars because it does actually work but seems to work with newer phones only. I tried it on an older phone and it didn't hold. On my phone it works but I have to take my case off my phone in order for the magnet to hold and that is what I don't like because I feel that if it ever did drop off of the magnetic holder, it would shatter due to not having a case on it.So the product works but it's not something I would continue to use just in case I hit a big pothole and the phone came off and shattered I would be upset. Maybe they should should have it magnetized but also with clamps to hold the phone as a secondary measure.

Good produce, but on dash board stay to long sun making to soft and start shake, you have to find some area stay away from sun. But I love it very strong material & magnet strong holding……

Excellent mount, magnets are plenty strong for rough roads. Holds tight to windshield without hassle

Easy to mount and the magnet is strong and holds my Samsung Galaxy 7 just perfect 😉
