While the packaging looked great upon arrival, I was disappointed to find that the item inside had already been opened, and some pieces were even loose. 😤😡😠 What a letdown!

I'm grateful that my boyfriend recommended to try it. It's yummmmm

This bag from brand ‘Hersheys’ is an assortment of individually wrapped dark chocolate squares in 3 flavours: ‘Special Dark’; ‘Special Dark with Crisp Rice'; and ‘Special Dark with Peanuts’. The bag I received consisted of a total of 34 chocolate squares. There were 12 squares of the ‘Special Dark’ flavour; and 11 squares each of the other 2 flavours. Some people feel that the ‘Special Dark’ chocolate is too sweet. Those who prefer dark chocolates with a cocoa percentage of 85 and/or higher might resonate with this opinion when tasting this assortment. However, the format of these chocolates: squares, helps bring about an intense chocolate flavour. The chocolates are certainly not reminiscent of ‘Cadbury’ ‘Darkmilk’ and/or bittersweet chocolates. They are quite bitter, with a slight harshness felt inside of the mouth. While the ‘Special Dark’ variant is no less in terms of packaging and taste, add-ons to the dark chocolate: Rice Crispies and Peanuts, do enhance the overall flavour of the chocolate squares. These add-ons also take away from that slight harshness. The variant most well-received was the one with ‘Crisp Rice’; followed by the one with ‘Peanuts’; and lastly, ‘Special Dark’. Overall, this product makes for a worthy purchase, especially for those who like consuming dark chocolate with a cocoa percentage of 50-80.
