I ride my bike ~8 miles a day to/from work. I really hated always trying to find a place to put my u-lock, in my pannier, on my handlebars, etc. My bike has a small frame and the u-lock holder that allows it to clamp on the frame just didn't fit well. But this holster fits perfectly on my rear rack, it looks cool, and is SO easy to use. I love that I don't have to find a place for my u-lock anymore. It doesn't rattle around either, even though the leather slightly stretched after I installed it. I could also just put the lock through the slats on my rear rack, but it rattled there and I always worried it would bump my tire.Notes on installation: There are holes punched in the leather for the screws at preset sizes, and the way that I attached it was slightly odd just so that I could get the screw to fit in a hole that would allow it to be snug. You can see in the photo it's attached with one strap on the rear rack and one strap on my bike frame. But it works perfectly and I imagine it could adapt to many shapes/sizes/configurations.

I love being able to ride out with my U-lock without a cumbersome Velcro pouch twixt my legs, but I live in New Orleans. The infrastructure here is notoriously shoddy. On a good day you may get a smooth go of it, but on any other day it's going to be a "look at this f***in' street" kind of day. If you are a curvier woman on a bike, the girls will be bouncing around like a dozen four-year-olds in an inflatable castle. Entertaining, but graceless. While pleased with my purchase, I wish it came with more support. Much like the girls, my U-lock teeters on the edge of falling out of its cradle with every bump in the road. Doing a quick tuck job every ten seconds can be very distracting in traffic. A little extra strap and button snap round the top to keep the U-lock in the harness on bumpier terrain would be just the ticket to make this beauty work like a dream.

I want this to be better. I like the idea and it looks good but I think a second version is called for. It’s not worth $35 in 2023. It needs more adjustability and it would be nice if the upper loop could be fixed in size. The long thin leather straps stretch over time naturally. I have added additional holes to snug it up but I have had to twice already and I have only used it a month and in dry weather.

Did exactly as described, which is holding a u-lock on the bicycle securely (looks very classy/vintage too). I had to do my own method of tying down the straps but that was to be expected since all rear bicycle racks are different. The leather seems to be high quality as well.

I am not sure which was worse, the way the leather on this snapped on the second ride, or the customer service from owner. Obviously this is a human being that has a lot to learn when it comes to standing behind their product. I used this with my New York lock by kryptonite. You will see another review where they said it worked well for it.Now if you read ALL through the description you will find one line that says it’s not made for these u-locks. I didn’t catch that line.Contacted the seller after the leather snapped mid-ride and provided a photo and asked for a refund. Seller would rather hold onto my money than make it right. I expressed to them it wasn’t the shape of the lock(all ulocks are the same exact shape) but rather the weight. This holster says it’s rated for up to 5 pounds. It is NOT. As you see from my review and others, it will snap if your lock weighs more than 4(maybe even less)BUYER. BEWARE. This seller doesn’t believe the above warranted a refund. You can find a better product. You can find a better company. 1-star.

This thing is awesome. Was looking for a u-lock mount with some style and found this thing. It's great that it matches the rest of the leather on my bike and it mounts in areas that aren't as visible. It doesn't come with instructions so you have to take a look at the pics to figure out how to mount it. Thing is sturdy and stylee.

Love this. Fits my large u-lock. Installed quickly on my rear rack. Doesn't bang around. Isn't bulky. Exactly what I was looking for.

I don't know what kind of bike this fits on but it didn't fit any of the six bikes in my garage -- road bike, hybrids, racing bikes, tri bikes. It definitely won't work on most saddles and won't work unless the geometry of your bike is just right -- something that is hard to know until you sink the money and buy it.One of the reasons a person might buy this is if they have a small geometry frame (because its really hard to fit a lock on a bike with small geometry), but this is exactly the kind of bike for which this holder will not work.Unfortunately it took me a while to try to get this on my bike so I am too late to try to return it.Great concept, but execution not so good.

looks great cost a lot but when fitted lock does not fit in think only certain size saddles are good for this looks great in pic but in real life no good for me

Très pratique et esthétique pour transporter un U. Empêche l’antivol de taper le cadre. Il faut bien serrer les deux vis avec du frein filet car il y’a un risque de desserrage et de perte de la vis (ce qui est arrivé...). Bon produit bien réalisé

Sehr praktisch und sah dabei noch gut aus! Leider hat die Halterung keine zwei Monate gehalten...Wie schon in anderen Bewertungen beschrieben ist die Halterung gerissen. Nicht für die schweren Kryptonite Schlösser geeignet.

It’d be nice to have a cover or flap to cover keyholes of Abus locks, esp for us winter cyclists. Really tho, it’s handy and looks good.
