Does not match photo, otherwise excellent
As other reviewers have noted, the delivered product does not match the advertised photo - the handles are quite different. I suspect this is a result of selling old stock - an earlier handle design. However, this remains an excellent Mauviel product. It is robust, solid copper, with bronze handles, with a subtle 'm' in the middle rather than the more recent Mauviel logo. The capacity of this (which I just measured) is a full 12 litres to within a millimetre of two of the brim. Needless to say however, you could not boil anything with it that full. A more practical capacity would be 6-8 litres, which would fill it 1/2 - 3/4 full and leave good room for simmering liquids. Overall, an excellent preserving pan. Worth noting: this is unlined copper, so only to be used for high sugar cooking such as making jams, not savoury. Also, as solid copper, this will NOT work on an induction hob, which requires a steel or iron based bottom.
