The quality, design, and construction are totally great. Assembly was easy in spite of a lack of instructions; there are only four pieces to put together and there are small letter labels that show where each piece goes. Included are 4 bolts that hold the legs to the bench and 4 more to hold the legs to the shelf, plus 4 wood screws to hold the shelf to the legs. Perfect design! They also included an extra screw and bolt just to make sure there were no problems. The color of the wood is terrific and the workmanship is top shelf. No sign of damage after shipment from the Philippines. Even though it was pricier than others, it is heavy and solid and worth the extra money. This women-owned company from the Philippines is well-worth a look.

We recently remodeled our master bathroom, and I wanted to decorate it in a "Zen spa" theme. I decided to use natural materials like teak and acacia wood wherever possible, so this teak stool was exactly what I was looking for. It is very sturdy and boy is it SOLID! The wood is seriously thick and heavy. Assembly was straight-forward, with 8 Allen screws in all that needed to be inserted and tightened. The only issue I had was with the alignment of the holes, which was slightly off on a couple of them. But I was still able to tighten the screws all the way into their intended holes, it just took a little extra effort to get past the misalignment. We remodeled our shower to be a Roman walk-in style, so the stool gets exposed to some water since it's right at the edge of the shower opening (which has no door - look at the photos to see what I mean). This stool is so heavy and solid that my wife can put her foot on it to shave her legs and I can put my foot on it to dry my legs and it doesn't tilt or slide at all. I know it's not cheap, but you're definitely getting what you're paying for with this item!

I bought this product three years ago and I’m writing the review now because Wow! This stool is used daily in a wet environment and still looks beautiful, with no signs of water damage. The construction feels purposeful and solid, and the stool itself is very sturdy. Overall, this has been one of my best purchase both functional and well made.

This little shower bench is so sturdy and also very beautiful. Well-made and versatile. It looks good anywhere in my home. Because it is so sturdy it’s a little on the heavy side, but that’s one of the things I love about it.

I am happy and impressed with this EcoDecors shower bench. The solid teak is gorgeous with a beautiful smooth finish and really enhances the room. It is sturdy and weighs over 17 pounds with 4 adjustable rubber feet. It takes only 6 screws to assemble. The fit is tight but it comes together perfectly when the screws are tightened all the way. An Allen wrench is included but I’d advise using a ratchet screwdriver with a hex head to tighten everything to the max.

Great shower chair! Make sure you measure your tub because it won’t fit in skinnier spaces but it is sturdy and well built

With a turn of only 14 screws/bolts, your bench comes to life and I couldn’t be happier. I stood on this baby and it didn’t budge. Sat on it for a solid 10 mins and my sciatica wasn’t burning like it would normally when I sit on hard surfaces for any amount of time. It has a beautiful curvature to the seat and it makes a huge difference. Some typical issues or concerns I’ll cover now.. Smell: It has a light aroma of the wood oil/ conditioner but you can tell that it’s not a full on chemical smell like you would get with most others. It’s almost a pleasing smell to know that the wood was hand crafted and it’s not some big box store mass produced stinky wood. Material: this one goes hand in hand with smell. It’s made out of beautiful teak! It’s not some compressed or cheap wood and I’m happy I spent the extra $ for quality over quantity. Size: I’m 5’ 165lbs and blessed with a “trunk” if you will. It comfortably holds my tail end with ease! Coloring: mine has an absolutely beautiful wood grain marble to it and i can’t stop starring at it. It’s not a printed on design or a wrap, it’s full on wood grains. Absolutely beautiful. Packaging/ shipping: they definitely take care of your new product with good packaging techniques. Double supported edges, wrapping to prevent the pieces from rubbing on eachother, an attached bag to ensure the hardware doesn’t get lost. You can tell there was thought in it. Assembly: The instructions are pictures but are very clear. They were also nice enough to include an Allen wrench to assemble.. Please have your own on hard when assembling or have someone else assist you for when you’re ready to give in. The end result will make you not want to but this little key! Uhhhck. (Please let me add that they didn’t need to add it and I’m grateful that they did but I wasn’t ready for the hand cramps! lol) but you’ll also need a screwdriver too. Overall, I’m soo happy with my purchase and I can wait to see what other great things I can add to my home.

I ordered this thinking I was paying $209, but when it arrived it was $356. Was going to return it due to price increase but when I saw the teak wood, I decided to splurge and keep it. Very simple to put together, tool included plus a spare of each screw. Beautifully made, finished and designed. So graceful. Very sturdy/solid. Gave me security in the shower after knee replacement. Everything is so typical of a company being owned and operated by women. I am so glad I kept it despite the price increase.

I ordered this amazing product, and it took at least ten days to arrive, upon delivery the oiter box was fairly in tact I unboxed the various components to find that the tob wooden bracket from one of the sides was broken down the middle, probably an item defect, so I ordered a refund and will buy the same item again.

I looked around a lot trying to find a quality well built bench. When I read EcoDecors story and how they support the local artisans who craft these fine benches I was sold. I love a company who has a social purpose and are not just in business to take advantage of others. The bench arrived in 1 Day ...super fast delivery. Not exactly as advertised as it did require assembly but that was very easy with very good hardware and the tool to do the job. BUT WOW am I impressed with the quality of this bench. Very well made with a very high end finish. 100% I would buy this bench again. Well Done EcoDecors!
