So of course I'm so excited about their 3rd installment "Bill & Ted Face The Music" being released later this month. Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure is one of those timeless (no pun intended) classics that you can enjoy no matter your age but can also introduce to your kids. And now it is released on 4K UHD Blu-ray, it has never looked and sounded so excellent! I am however frustrated that the sequel "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey" hasn't yet been released on 4K along with this one, although I'm hoping that will change soon as I'm sure Face the Music will get a 4K release. If you love Bill & Ted, then getting the 4K release is a must.

Bill & Ted have been one of my favourite on screen duos since I was a kid. So of course I'm so excited about their 3rd installment "Bill & Ted Face The Music" being released later this month. Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure is one of those timeless (no pun intended) classics that you can enjoy no matter your age but can also introduce to your kids. So-Crates and Abraham Lincoln would be proud
a most excellent Blu-ray/4K presentation. Most of the special features are only present on the Blu-Ray disc, but you do get the two audio commentaries on the 4K disc as well. The only negative thing I'll say about this presentation is that the audio is merely a DTS:HD 2.0, and no effort was made to expand the sound field on this, to at least DTS:HD 5.1. Image is great, extra content is extensive, and the film is lots of fun. Obviously, the film rests on the chemistry of the two leads, and you can see why this went on to be such a success, but George Carlin also shines in this, in a supporting role.

Excellent picture shame about the sound
The picture quality is really cleaned up nicely but can’t understand why the sound isn’t 5.1 like the dvd version, disappointed but still an excellent movie

One of the funniest sci-fi comedies I've ever had the chance to see!
I got this as a present for my dad as this is a film we've never owned, but watched on TV years ago. The fact that this has been remastered makes it a bonus! Best friends Bill S. Preston Esq. and Ted "Theodore" Logan, learn from a man named Rufus that they are the key to ensuring humanity's utopian future, but first, they must pass their history class! Cue a time travelling journey through time and meeting with various icons of history including Lincoln, Joan of Arc and Socrates. One of the funniest sci-fi comedy films I've ever seen!

A most excellent 4k package
Nice filmic transfer - 4k details clearly present in places. This is a film from the eighties and looks it. That's not a bad thing but adjust your expectations - this isn't going to look like a modern feature. But fans should be very pleased. Make sure of course you are using a set-up that can take full advantage of what 4k brings to the table. If you think streaming quality looks fantastic, which it really isn't, you might not appreciate the improvements this disc delivers. Great set of extras and a nice accompanying booklet. Studio Canal have done a really nice job.

This is in 4k ultra HD HDR upscale to 2160p digitally remastered movie in Dolby Atmos sound best movie ever

They did a good job restoring this classic film in 4k. You can definitely tell in some scenes. Also, the 4K blu-ray version is in Regions, A, B & C. However, the regular Blu-ray verson with the bonus features is only in Region B. You can get around that though. I use a PC to watch my Blu-rays. I rip my 4k Blu-rays since it's nearly impossible to watch a 4K blu-ray disc on a AMD platform. And I rip Blu-rays that are in different regions(Like Bill & Ted bonus features disc) So I can watch. I'm glad I bought this. Comes with an excellent booklet inside.

Denke der sich dieses BoxSet kauft, kennt diese Filme eh schon. Für die Filme der guten alten Zeit ist dieser Film ein absolutes MUSS! Die 4k Qualität ist gut und alles top!!! Kaufempfehlung 1 mit Stern!!!
