Love it! Actually better than the one I had. Can be used for more than canning.

Have to toss this after less than 2 years. Maybe used a dozen times and already has rust spots inside on the bottom where the finish is coming off. Does not work well with induction cook top either.

I was in love with the stainless brand name WBC but it was $120. So I bought the classic black speckled canner only to open it and read the instructions saying it’s not for glass stoves. So I went online and found this WBC and it was glass stove safe. Loved it so much we bought a second one. Makes those big canning sessions faster. It’s very sturdy and I love the glass lid to peak inside to see the boil rate.

I have been canning for a very long time and I have to say that this is the best water bath canner I have ever used. It is a little taller than the others which means a lot because no water splashes out while processing. The lid is vented so no water spurting while processing. It has a heavier bottom than the average canner so that means it takes a bit longer for the water to boil, not a problem at all. The pot had a small dent at the bottom on the side when I unboxed it, but my husband looked at it and he said it would be fine to use. I have used it several times now and it is wonderful. In fact I will be ordering another one to have as a back up, just in case.

It arrived well packaged. The handle was TIGHT (a complaint I saw several times). I’m guessing more from how people treated it, because had mine arrived loose, I would have returned it.As others mentioned the label was ridiculous to remove. I first spent about 10 minutes peeling off as much as I could (would not come off in one big piece). Then used orange oil (Goo Gone) to remove the remaining goo and label that didn’t come off. About another 10 minutes. Clearly this manufacturer needs to glue only the four corners, not a whole label that covers a third of the pan!Other than the label, I’m thrilled with the canner. As soon as my tomato’s are fully rip, this will be put to good and heavy use!

Nice size canner, easy to use

I bought this in 2021 to replace an old aluminum canner. This one is such an improvement. The glass lid makes it easy to see if your jars are boiling, the rack fits lots of jars per batch. The pot itself comes in handy for big recipes and for making soups and stock. You can't go wrong with this pot.
