The straplocks are nice with positive locking, and look classy in the gold color. The mounting screws that come with it aren't very good and the phillips heads will strip easily. I suggest you reuse the screws that came with your guitar to mount these...although I had to slightly grind the screw heads around the edges so they would seat properly inside the straplock as they were slightly big. This wasnt a big deal for me to do...took about 10 minutes. I would recommend these for anyone wanting reliable straplocks.

I have these on 6 basses.1) I wish you could buy just part that goes on the guitar body because I rotate between only one or two straps to all my basses.2.) I had one of the strap locks fail (part that goes on strap would not lock on) and thought it was just a fluke. I replaced it with an extra one from another set I bought (maybe it is good you can't buy just the pin for the body). It happened again with the most recent set I bought, one of the locks (strap part) would not lock on the pin. Replaced it with one of the spares and locked right now.

I feel these are a great value. They work like they should, but the only thing I might mention is that the outside edge of the knobs that tighten to the strap will cut you and your clothing. I can take a file to them, but it's really only an issue when I'm sitting and playing, as the straplock is positioned inside my thigh. I guess the main thing is that I do trust that my guitar will not be damaged because a straplock failed.

These work great. I installed them on my Godin electric as soon as I got them - it took 5 minutes, and matched the hardware on my guitar. Some reviewers complained about the quality of the screws and I agree with them. They are cheaper screws that look like the phillips head would strip out if you weren't careful. I subtracted one star because the manufacturer should include higher quality screws - it wouldn't add that much cost.The screws from my original Godin strap hangers fit perfectly and were a much higher quality screw so I used those. I would suggest buying better screws if you don't have existing ones. Otherwise, I love the item. I'm going to buy the gold ones for my acoustic now that I know they're good.4/14/15 - Update: These locks rattle real bad if the strap doesn't have tension on it while you're playing, i.e. you have the strap resting over your shoulder while you're sitting and playing. I have to remove the locks if I'm going to to sit with my guitar. I still like them though.

When putting them together, you must add some elmer's glue to the threads...Or they'll come loose...Now I mean, to really tight them, so they won't un screw..I did with some pliyers...

Après un achat-test pour une guitare pas trop chère, j'en ai finalement acheté pour la plupart de mes grattes. Je préfère largement ce système à ceux de Schaller ou de Gotoh ; l'avantage principal étant que l'attache est relativement plate ; pas de problème pour la poser sur un stand à fond plein comme j'ai pu avoir avec les Schaller.Pas de problème dans la durée, par contre les vis sont effectivement petites par rapport à la moyenne, il a fallu que je comble le trou avec un peu de bois sur plusieurs guitares. Mais ça ne m'a pas posé de problème jusqu'ici.Bémol : la peinture n'est pas de grande qualité et s'enlève vite sur les points de friction. Et j'aurais aimé que le modèle existe en Cosmo Black.Mais à ce prix, on fait difficilement mieux. J'achète des guitares en magasin de revente régulièrement, et c'est appréciable de pouvoir trouver des strap locks qui ne coûtent pas 35€.

Esperaba un producto de baja calidad, sin embargo me sorprendió la calidad y lo bien que se ajustan y funcionan!
