To date, these are the best value masks I've come across. Back in Apr, I had paid £33/100, then early June £23/100, and late June £14/100, all in similar good quality from another supplier.This order arrived quickly and very well packed for safe transit. Each 50 masks and the inspection certificate are factory sealed in a clear plastic bag and then packed in the box as shown on the listing photo.For this type of 3 ply disposable mask, the fitting is very good, the material is pleasant enough against the skin, while the bendy wire works well for it's intended purpose. Some reviewers commented that it does not fit snugly on the sides, but this is just the nature of this type of disposable mask, especially if your face is on the bony or narrow side. To gain the best fit, you do need to shape and mould the wire very well against the skin before pulling the mask under the chin. For a really snug fit all around, you will need to get the much more expensive N95 type.The mask also passed the 3 basic tests with flying colours, indicating that they are properly manufactured using appropriate materials. Firstly, I cut the mask and tested each layer for waterproofness, none let any water through when each one was filled with running tap water. Then I burned each layer with a lighter to see if they are indeed made with non-woven melt blown fabric as claimed, all 3 layers melted and did not catch flame. Finally, I tried to blow a lighter flame whilst wearing the mask, and I was unable to do so after many attempts.Some reviewers complained about the elastic being easily breakable, but I have come to realise that this is actually caused by over tugging when the mask is being removed from the bag. To avoid weakening the welded joint, I have transferred the masks into a larger ziploc type bag and straightened out the elastics so that the masks are no longer tightly compacted inside the box with the elastics folded over and tangled up.These 1Above masks are fit for purpose and I am very pleased to have discovered them. I’m still not convinced that covid precautions should be abandoned and still prefer to use face masks at the minute. We needed some new ones as the supplies were getting a little low and I came across these. They were priced at £11.99 for 200 masks, they came in four boxes with 50 in each.What I find strange is that they advertise as a trusted UK based brand, however the masks themselves are made in china. This could be misleading to some. They have a CE mark printed on side but they just don’t feel overly protective, in my opinion.Compared to my usual ones, plus the fact I use masks daily in work they just feel too light and thin.It has a thin piece of plastic which can be moulded to fit the nose to give a tighter fit, but as a glasses wearer I still found I steamed up.I did notice that they have a strange smell when you first place them on, like cheap bin bags, strange and a little off putting.The inner side doesn’t feel as fluffy as some, which is a plus, as not as itchy. They do feel lighter when wearing and comfortable but I do have concerns that they are not as effective as other I have tried.There are indeed three layers as stated, I have cut it open, but they feel too thin for the purpose intended.However, any type of face protection is better than none and as only usually for quick shop trips they should do the job, but if you are looking for more clinical jobs these may not hit the mark in my opinion.

They are strong and are a reasonable price l

These masks were passable, nothing wonderful, but unlike other reviewers whose masks arrived in four boxes of fifty wrapped in cellophane mine came in two boxes of one hundred and not cellophane wrapped just loose in the two boxes. Didn't notice a smell, unlike some other reviewers, but one box certainly had a darker blue colour tinge on the outside than the other and the loops were a little on the big side I would have preferred a tighter fit and this made the mask gape a little on both sides so if you have a smaller head these are not for you, fortunately mine is quite big but they were still roomy. I'm hoping these will last a long while as mask wearing seems to have waned but I still wear one every time I go out. I wear glasses and bought a mask nose attachment at the start of the pandemic which is brilliant and stops my specs steaming up but without my clip, due to the large fit, these masks would steam up my specs.
