I bought it as I noticed a gas smell in the house. I tried several detectors before I got this and none of them identified a leak, but the smell was persistent. After I got this detector, the alarm went off every time I smelled the gas too. Works great, acceptable price!

I originally bought two detectors and registered the warranties. One has given me no trouble. I test it regularly with the button alarm and a butane light to test fumes. The second one had been replaced twice. The alarm sound didn't work the second time. Butane fumes did register with the correct code but no alarm sound. Yeezou replaced both quickly with no fuss. Their English isn't perfect but they really try. I found their service to be excellent. I need these alarms to work.

The media could not be loaded.  After our toddler turned on the gas without us knowing and our house filled with fumes- this was a MUST purchase. It was such a scary experience. Having this near the stove gives us so much peace of mind now. I don’t think I ever would’ve slept sounding again otherwise. Zero set up- just plug in and it’s ready!

After having this for 2 years I’ve never heard an alarm ever. I’ve placed it high and low in my kitchen and left the stove on and it does not alarm. Wish I could get a refund.

The detector is so easy to install/test and mostly foolproof. But twice now the alarm has sounded stating there was gas present, but when I went to check it, the number is still zero. I test it and it seems to work, but the false alarms are a bit frustrating.

Hasta el momento solo he realizado pruebas con mechero y reacciona inmediatamente asi que todo ok. Lo unico malo es que la alarma sonora no es muy fuerte que digamos, lo cual no lo detectaria una persona con sueño pesado (si han oido alarmas agudas en equipos de seguridad industrial sabran que es un poco mas fuerte)
