best sealant for caravan, I have done around the windows and have seen no damp in there at all. Even done the shower floor and it has worked. Application is easy and spreads nicely, Takes about 30 minutes to dry, Smooth out with finger and your good. Seems to hold very strong.

Great stuff easy to use

This stuff works well. For a caravan you need a flexible sealant; ordinary bathroom style silicon sealant doesn't last. The snag with this stuff is that anywhere it is exposed it collects dirt. Inevitable I suppose because it remains flexible, i.e. slightly sticky, but this means that any smears or exposed 'lips' between the two itens being sealed together ends up looking grubby. For a tidy result you have to clean off every excess trace, and even them, if it's sealing a gap, you'll get a grubby seam.

Very good quality sealant and little bit pricey but does the job.

Excellent adhesive and sealant for caravans and motorhomes. Easy to apply, weatherproof, and very durable. Stays flexible and reliable even in harsh conditions.

I purchased x3 tubes of Sikaflex 522 to stick two 200w solar panels to the roof of my Motorhome and it has done the job perfectly. Its easy to use, adheres well and is not overly messy or unpleasant. I would certainly use again and can see why it's the go to sealant/adhesive for the camping and motorhome fraternity.

Does exactly what it claims to - this is my choice always for caravan and motorhome external sealant ( for sealing around the external body / panels ). This sealant does 'set' and becomes solid. As always, preparation is key before application. Recommended. However I would have liked a longer 'best before ' date on it - mine was Sept'26, having just purchased in March '26. Good job I wanted to use it quickly
