It is a ten out of ten amazing! It fits my Canon G3 X perfectly and I bought some 67 mm ND filters and they fit perfectly!

A very functional (and qualiy) accessory for Canon models SX30 IS through SX70 HS cameras.
For those who own cameras such as the old Canon SX30 IS through SX70 HS, you know that at this stage of the game, finding accessories that are worthwhile, are often difficult to find (if you can find them at all). One of the issues with the Canon SX30 IS through SX70 HS, was the fact that you could not attach filters to the front of the lens. Canon made an adapter for it, but it was priced fairly high. Well, JJC made its own adapter with lens hood, and it really makes a great difference - and it's got a great affordable price. In addition, the larger 67MM screw-in threads ensures that you won't experience any vignetting, and it protects the lens also with a filter installed. The lens hood is a quality addition also. After all, they could have just made an adapter ring (without lens hood), but then folks would be complaining that they needed a lens hood also. I have two of these - one on both my Canon SX30 IS and the other on a Canon SX50 HS. This makes a huge difference, and I'm glad to see it's still available here on Amazon

This is the hood to get if you intend to use a filter such as a Polarizer
This has proven to be a very sturdy hood but it is tricky to mount and dismount. If you agoing to use it on a trip be sure to practice mounting and dismounting it. Teh hood has twp parts, the hood and the mount disk. The disk holds filters. It is often convenient to leave the disk in place and just take off the hood if you not using it. Putting the hood on the mount disk is a lto easier than mounting the disk.

Excelente parasol para mi Canon sx70hs, viene con el adaptador que se acopla perfectamente al cuerpo del lente y no se sale!. Trae rosca para poder adaptar filtros de 67mm y se le puede colocar la tapa protectora como se observa en la foto (no se puede colocar filtro y protector a la vez). Es reversible como dice en la descripción y no ocupa espacio en esa posición a penas unos cuantos milímetros. Recomiendo este parasol y a la marca!

Habituellement j’achète les éléments que j’ajoute à mes équipements de la même marque que mon achat. Mais chez le vendeur de ma caméra ils ne possédaient pas l’adaptateur en magasin pour mon Canon SX 70. J’ai donc chercher sur Amazon et j’ai trouvé cet adaptateur et ce pare-soleil. Mes craintes n’ont pas été justifiées l’installation se fait aisément et j’ai placé des filtres de 67mm et tout fonctionne très bien. Alors pour le même prix qu’un adaptateur Canon j’ai aussi le pare-soleil.

It's ok and will do the job, not sure how long it will last. The whole item is made of plastic, and I purchased it to install filters which are all aluminium, so only time will tell if the threads will last. It is well made and delivery was extremely fast. Thanks
