Is this a continuous duty relay? can the proper input voltage be applied indefinitely to signal when there is a power failure?

I purchased and have been testing for continuous duty.....it remains energized for many hours and barely gets warm, so Im going to deem it continuous duty for my purposes.

Can the input be triggered by a momentary switch or does it require a latched signal/voltage?

The item can't support monentary switch.

What gauge wire does it have for 12v version, also is it water proof.

I just checked my 24V version; doubt if there is any difference in wire gauge between 12 and 24. Surprisingly, the input wire looks to be very small 20-22 gauge while the outputs are 16 gauge as could be read on the 16 gauge wire. I would say it is not waterproof as the input wires are not sealed into the module. I have two of these in service in my irrigation system using the option that supplying input power to the module opens the relay.

What's wrong with it? Worked fine for 4 days, but now is sticking and buzzing. After a hard wack, works until power off then on again and sticks.

Please confirm your control signal voltage and current. When the current is not enough to fully drive the relay coil, it will cause the relay to repeatedly open and close, resulting in damage to the relay.

Worked as expected.

I'm using this to sense utility power on a residential electric service. It is triggering control relays for an automatic transfer switch so the load is very low, but the coil is in constant use. So far it's working perfectly (2 weeks ago installed), but If that changes I will update this review.
