Works very well and comes very easily off the wall, leaving no marks or damages

Used 6 pairs of Large strips to hang a framed painting of about 1mx1m weighing around 5kg on a wall in a tight space. It certainly looked better flat to the wall and fitting more neatly in the space than had been possible by hanging it in the traditional way. So far all good. The wall was/is painted plaster which is not one of the "don't use it on" surfaces. But, after about 18 months in place, long enough that we had grown confident in them, well, today it fell off the wall. The failure was not the velcro style fastenings but the adhesive from the backing strips which just gave way. They came off cleanly. Luckily the canvas was not damaged although the frame was, a little. I shall be putting it back up, but, this time I will be tying the traditional hanging wire at the back to the strong screw that it used to hang from in order to break its fall should this happen again. I'll also diarise to occasionally (annually) press the picture back onto the wall to try to maintain the adhesive join. I'll add a couple more strips for luck too.

These are good for lightweight pictures but not anything heavy . They are durable if used for the correct item . Easy to use .

Terrible tried using these in my apartment and they would not stick to anything. Followed the instructions to the letter and would not work. Things fell off the wall and pealed the paint. Then after leaving some over night they finally stuck but the other side wouldn’t stick to the frame. After getting frustrated I tried to use the pulley tabs to remove and they just tore off and left the command strip attached to the wall. Wouldn’t buy again these were highly recommended too.

complicated to use. you would think you clean the wall and stick it, but instructions make you stick and unstick it a few times these are actually stickly backed "velcro" (or similar) and not double sided sticky pads
