As expected
Works well. Used to pressure test black iron gas lines.

Well built
Gauge and fittings are very well built. Already used it for a pressure test on a drain line. Held five pounds for 24 hours. Nice brass fitting. The 30 pound gauge is perfect for low pressure testing, much more exact than the usual 100 pound gauges

Seemed to work then broke
I installed this on my black pipe and added 15 lbs of air. The system shows that It held the pressure after i checked in several days. I released the pressure slowly thru a valve down stream, then removed the guage to use on another line I needed to test. Unfortunately the guage now shows around 18 lbs even before I add air. I tried adding air and releasing it but it never goes below 18. I can't see where there is an adjustment...and of course the 30 day return window was 2 days ago...so it appears I'm stuck with this broken guage.

Completely hate this thing for the right reasons
Well-deserved 5 star rating. Bought this gauge because it was cheaper than piecing all of the things together that I needed. Installed a natural gas line on a home that I'm working on. Wanted to do a pressure test before I covered everything up and actually put gas through it. Ordered this and it showed me that I had a few leaks. I've installed gas line before and had the gas company check it and didn't have any problems. On this system, I had quite a few issues. One of the joints I forgot to put the tape on, so that was leaking. Fixed that and still had a leak, just not as intense. Kept finding leaks in the dumbest places but I fixed them and moved on. Checked every joint that I made with soap and there were no leaks coming from it but I still was losing pressure. Can't say how many times I thought this gauge might have been leaking and I checked it every time but no part of it ever leaked. Finally found out that I had a ¾ elbow fitting and a ¾ tee fitting leaking at the seam where the casting was put together. Also found a union that wouldn't seal no matter what I did. Found the leaking Tee by chance because some soap had run down and it was bubbling on the seam. Fixed that and the pressure would hold longer. Still had a small leak though so I started checking everything and found a 3/4 inch elbow that had the same issue. Fixed that elbow and it's been holding 60 PSI for 3 days now. Definitely not a problem with this gauge, great investment. The reason I hate it is because it took quite a bit of climbing around to fix the leak that this gauge found, which is a good thing.Might want to be careful of the Home improvement store that likes green, that's where those leaking fittings came from.

Well built test fitting for a right price.
It's nicely built and perfect for my use. The only problem is that I ordered the 60 psi version and they shipped the 30 psi version. In my case it's not important since I was going to change it to a 160 psi gauge and the 60 psi gauge I ordered would be more useful in my pile of stuff. Not worth trying to exchange it. Bought a 2nd unit a few days later, ordered it again with 60 psi gauge and, yet again, they sent the 30 psi gauge. Anticipating this I also ordered a 160 psi gauge to replace it with. Now I've got two 30 psi gauges that aren't very useful for my uses. The price was right, just don't expect to get the 60 psi gauge if you order it, you'll still get the 30 psi unit.
