Olympus M 1 GB xD-Picture Card Flash Memory Card 202169

I bought this picture card despite the misgivings I have based on prior reviews that it is slow, and only records 10 seconds of video. I am happy to say that my gamble has paid off. In terms of speed, I've had no problems with this card. With video (which was one of the main reasons I bought this card), my camera, an Olympus FE-120, calculates the amount of recording time I have based on the remaining free space on the card, which is usually over an hour and a half. A previous review would have you believe that it only enables you to record for 10 seconds at a time. This is not the case. I was able to record continuously for about 4 minutes and I only stopped because I was done recording what I wanted to record. The camera indicated I had over an hour and a half remaining when I decided to stop. Here is a breakdown of the various picture/video quality and the amount of pictures/time the camera can take. Please be advised that the below numbers are less than the actual amount the card can hold because I am currently using 215MB of the 1.95GB (2GB) space the card can hold. For Pictures: 2816x2112 (SHQ) resolution = 422 pictures 2816x2112 (HQ) resolution = 1240 pictures 1600x1200 (SQ1) resolution = 3567 pictures 640X480 (SQ2) resolution = 9999+ pictures For Videos: 320x240 (15fps) = 1 hour, 32 minutes, 13 seconds 320x240 (30fps) = 46 minutes, 6 seconds I would recommend getting this card wholeheartedly to the casual picture taker.

The Olympus 2 GB Type M xD-Picture Card 202170 is a wonderful device for storing digital images. It also is a really cool black with sort of silver stylized text on it. I doubt this affected the function in any way but it did make it easy to pick it out of a pile of other similar chips. I do not believe it has any moving parts because I could not hear it making any sound when in use. It says 2GB and I believe them. I was able to put a lot of pictures on it, even if some of the photos were of small things, and they were still there when I went to retrieve them. Most importantly, I want to thank each and everyone who over the years contributed to the technology that allowed this chip to be manufactured and shipped to me in a "just in time" manner so it could go to Paris. It appears that the language issue does not affect the image storage function of this masterpeice.

The Olympus 2GB xD Picture card arrived on time and was exactly as I ordered and at a great price. Even with my camera set to take high quality shots, I can take over 1,000 shots!! I'm looking forward to a great holiday abroad without having to download the camera until I return home. I expect to have great photos and videos...can't wait.

These XD cards are difficult to find for my older Olympus cameras since most camera newer cameras take SD cards. They are quite expensive because of that but since my cameras still work well, it was worth the additional money.

The Olympus 2GB Picture/Memory Card is a very good product. I purchased it for my FUJI camera. It was completely compatable to the FUJI Fine Pix Camera and it held enough pictures through a photo shoot of my new Miniature Pinscher. As you know Dogs don't sit still for an hour. Retrieving the photos from the memory card to my computer was easy and without any complications. I highly recommend this Olympus 2GB picture/memory card.

The memory card I had was used for several years. It did just what I needed it to. So, when I purchased a new digital camera - I decided to search for a card that did a little more and held a good deal more pictures. The olympus xD M2GB is just what the doctor ordered. The card hold so much more materal whether it be panoramic, video or regular pictures.

I bought this last year because someone gave me an olympus camera for my birthday. Well, its been a year and its still working with no problems. Unfortunately, I don't have any card readers for olympus so I always rely on my camera adapter to transfer my pictures. If you need a card for an existing olympus camera, then I recommend this product. If you're researching on a camera, then I recommend you buy a camera that accepts sd cards. They're more cheaper and generic.

It did not work. The card was faulty. But we did receive a refund from the seller. We have not purchased this memory card from anywhere else

A great storage facility that works perfectly well in my Fuji Finepix A330 camers allowing esy transfer of photos to my computer without the need for a data transfer cable.

These XD cards now seem difficult to find as the technology has obviously moved on. I was relieved to have found this supplier who dealt with my order promptly and efficiently. No problems with the product as all 'tickety boo'..
