Lubricating Jelly - Sterile - 4.25 Oz Tube - by Fougera

The sterile gel is the perfect consistency for my needs, and the quality has always been reliable.

I ordered this to lubricate piercing needles to re pierce four holes in my earlobes. Firstly, it’s a huge tube so you will have a bunch left over. The tube reminds the user to sterilize their hands and outside of tube before using, otherwise the sterility is compromised. I did this, then squeezed out a bunch on a sterile cotton pad. I would then dip a new needle into it each time, so there was no cross contamination. The leftover jelly was thrown away. Initially I forgot to use the jelly on my first hole, and the needle wouldn’t really move through the ear. The remaining three were a breeze. I am so glad I read someone else’s comment about needing sterile lubricating jelly for the process otherwise I would have been lost and it would be way more painful!

I order this for my Mom. She has to do self catheterization she stated it allows the catheter to slide easily. Anything to make her life easier.

I ordered the screw top and got the flip top. That seems trivial, but the screw top is a metal tube that I can roll up. That is convenient. Otherwise, this enables an enema to be less uncomfortable.

Thought I was getting a flip top, but it was a screw on top. But that's ok. A little thicker gel I thought, too. Stays on where I put it. First time i have used this brand. Very good. Thicker than k-y. Different feel. Used with stainless steel sounds.

I use it with catheters because it allows the catheter to slide easily all the way to my bladder. It is also sterile and prevents possible urinary infections. Wash hands before using.

I have tried them ALL, natural, silicon, paraben-free, etc. All the brands...and they burned me. The last time I went to my obgyn, I checked the tube she uses while I was waiting. I wrote the name down and kept it because whenever she was using it, it never burned me. So I thought, maybe I can find it. I was so relieved to find it on Amazon. This is not natural, but it doesn't cause me any irritation, burning or stingy feeling. However, the tube came all bumpy and without a box. It is awkward to have to hold in your hand a tube that "you don't know where it has been" and then apply that in your intimate place. I would pay double price for that product if it could arrive in a decent box. I washed the tube with soap and cold water. Wonderful product, awful way to present it. I do recommend it though, if you are like me and that you can't tolerate any other lubricant.

Used this to create a biggest bubble mix possible with my son.. Made the bubble mix and wow this stuff really worked. Went to park and we blew some great big bubbles.

Excellent product

Was delivered on time and in good condition. No leaks and nice and cold. Pretty much the stuff you can access in hospitals. No burn feeling unless you're allergic to the chemicals used to make it but overall its what'd you expect. A water based lotion with the added bonus of it being a steriliser thus making things feel somewhat safer depending on how you plan and want to use this. Just don't go using the whole thing in one go. It is a bit expensive and you want to make the most of it. Also, it does get sticky after a few seconds/minutes after use. EDIT: WARNING. Contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate which can have a strong allergic reaction in rare cases to some people. Best to read up on the effects and possible dangers as it might be responsible for problems down the line.
