Pretty much a waste of money for wide angle and telephoto shooting in my opinion.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to go with my Canon VIXIA HFG20 Camcorder. The camcorder itself is great, I can't fault it. However, I bought this so that I could capture a wider area in a smaller room. I have not used the macro function, which is not relevant to my current needs. When used in wide angle filming the image is badly vignetted, unless you zoom in to close to the standard width the camera does by default. In addition, the focus is noticeably softer and very slightly darker in low light. The telephoto was worse, poor focus, blurry image.

Excellent package
The primary reason for buying package was the lenses and filter. The lens performed very well. The wide angle allowed me to stand in and still cover 8x8 room with minimal movement using XA20. Telephoto was also good and there was no problem with the filter fitting. For the price this was an excellent package for me.

Great add-on package at a great price.
The lens adaptors worked just fine and did not interfere with any focusing. The price was right especially with the wide angle lens.

Useless crap1
When I received it, the lens cleaning fluid had leaked all over the inside of the package.The "wide angle" lens will not screw on the VIXIA's primary lens directly, you need the "macro" adapter.The image quality is absolutely inferior. What a waste of money, especially when used with the superior optics that Can provides.I'd amazed and disappointed that Amazon promotes this piece of shiet!

I was dubious BUT this is an excellant addition.
I was very dubious when I bought this addition for the Canon VIXIA but from what I can tell these lens work perfectly and you can not see a drop in quality from the camera. Very impressive and a great addition and at very low cost. Worth every penny.
