A Great Deal of Information for such a Little Book!
Ok...why does this book only have three Stars hmm... Well anyways this is not only a great book, but it's also a necessary book to own. I feel that there is a big difference between black/dark magick and sinister magick. Nothing about this book is sinister or wrong. As a human you have the right to utilize natural law and protect yourself against those who seek to harm you and this book will give you the power to make that happen. Now the spells in this book are mostly Hoodoo in nature (but not limited to hoodoo) so there is some christian undertone to it(remember the bible is just a big ol' spell book anyways) . Her chapter on police brutality was very insightful and one of her methods to stop police brutality is by casting out the evil entity (by word of power) that may be influencing them. I like that fact that she goes into depth with the spells. Some of the topics and spells feature are: Conjuring Power through Rage,Transferring Etheric Force from One Object to Another, Dragon Guard, Stopping White Collar Criminals, Santa Muerte,Binding Spell, Break Glamour of Institutions, Bad Marriage, Abusive Relationship, Stop rape, Employment of Daemons and much much more.I also own Dorothy Morrison "Utterly Wicked: Curses, Hexes & Other Unsavory Notions" and "The Little Book of Curses and Maledictions for Everyday Use" and I feel the that this book is more detail, clear and serious in tone. The author also give you rituals and advice on protection and dealing with trauma. So all in all I like this book and i'm very happy that I purchased it..

Justice will Prevail!
There's not enough (true) justice in the World and combined with far too many perpetrators whom go unpunished for their acts of evil, is the reason and purpose of 'Black Magic for Dark Times' according to author Angela Kaelin. It is disturbing to realise that many crimes go unpunished and seemingly, when perpetrators are apprehended, the Laws of the land appear to be crafted to protect the criminally inclined, from the consequences of their harmful actions. The Sentences meted out by the Legal Court System are frequently Less than the effects committed by the criminals and thus; the survivors are left feeling cheated out of justice and are traumatised yet again. So, where can a crime survivor turn? "Taking the Law" into one's own hands can't be recommended (and its illegal anyway) because of the punishment on the original victim when caught, is more severe! This system cannot be considered "Fair" in this or many other instances. This is where 'Black Magic for Dark Times' comes into the fore; this is a manual for those whom seek justice through supernatural means, after the conventional and Legal Systems have failed them. Within these pages, you will find; calling on spirits, harnessing the victim's own inner rage and crafting spells with candles with oils to ensure the guilty feel the weight of their harmful actions. This is not a book of 'forgive and forget', it is a call to arms and a means to restore a sense of harmony back int the lives of those harmed through the thoughtless and selfish actions of perpetrators against the innocent and unaware.I like this book and agree with the aims of the author. For anyone negatively effected by crime against your person, children, property or possessions, IF and "when" the Legal System fails in its duty to protect you and keep your family safe, then it is time to turn to spiritual means to obtain the justice you seek. You will find it here, within these pages.5 Stars, well deserved.

Protection for yourself and the ones you love is all anyway can ask for
This book is practical and to the point. It is not "Black Magic" the author comes from a place of knowledge and she has the ability to convey that knowledge in a practical, very understandable way! This book is necessary in the world we live in today. Protection for yourself and the ones you love is all anyway can ask for. Great book for real times!

Black Magic! (Use responsibly...)
Disclosure: I am not a practicing witch (quite the opposite) and am, therefore, not the target audience for this material. I read and review this book for educational purposes, to give outsiders and beginners a good idea of what to expect.I may as well start here: I tremendously enjoyed this read. The author writes with authority and passion and she knows her audience. The book writes for a needful yet underserved audience (crime and abuse victims) but makes sure her material can be used by anyone. Kaelin addresses a wide range of cultural and religious influences and treats them with the utmost respect. She addresses the moral and political issues of our time bravely and bluntly. If you want to hear what is pejoratively termed "white light" or "fluffy bunny" magic, this is not for you. Kaelin recognizes the value of rage, hatred, and dark, negative energy in spellcraft and in emotional healing. The book is divided into different categories of abuses, namely seedy landlords, police brutality, abusive spouses and partners, etc. If you have a need, you will probably find it here. Low on fluff, high on content, it reads almost like a novel and Kaelin talks almost like a friend and sage.Warning: Kaelin addresses this multiple times throughout the book, but it can't hurt for me to address it as well. This book contains theological notions and rituals that purport to cause harm or death. Even if you don't believe that magic has the power to do these things, you may have to consider that engaging in these practices could be against your current religion or that it might be corrosive spiritually or emotionally. The answers to those questions will, of course, depend on the reader. Read wisely.

A great investment in anyone's collection.
Great information. I've been a Sorcerer for 40 + yrs and research is a large part of what needs doing. So as to utilize anything that, as of yet undiscovered, can be most useful. And this has quite a few useful bits of information. No beating around the bush, straight to the point type of information. Which is the best kind.
