I use mine for treasure hunting and as long as you calibrate it correctly, it's definitely worth the price. It also has a good balance and weight.

When I opened the package I was surprised as to how easy it was to assemble, didn’t take more than 15 minutes to figure it all out. It comes with a shovel (that I’ve used) & it also digs really well! So far I’ve taken it out on 1 beach trip here in Galveston, Tx & I’ve already found 4 rings. I was very glad it wasn’t difficult to assemble or work with because I was very anxious to use it. My impatience was well rewarded, very solid metal detector, easy to assemble & a true bargain for it’s price. I think it was very much worth it!

Search coil is not as sensitive as expected, no locking collar for search coil connection

It's a lot of fun for the family. We've had a few adventures with it so far. The older kids are able to use this without any help at all. We've used it around our yard and our families yards and have found several missing toys and a few different coins. It's pretty accurate. I do suggest reading the instructions and learning what everything means before use. I paired this with some nice rechargable 9volt batteries that didn't show any change of status after 2 hours of use. Perfect for a little family fun. Can't wait to hit the beach with it.

Was looking for a drain plug that backed out on an L47 TLB Kubota tractor that had only 17 hours. Kubota is making me pay for a new engine. Wanted to find the bolt to prove to Kubota that I did cause the damage. Was able to find it today buried under leaves in less than 5 minutes of looking. The magnet I bought did not find it. Great addition to the family of products :-)

Very good value for the money. I have located several coins and other assorted metal items with this detector. However, I don't put much stock in the selector that is is supposed to tell what type of metal is located. If it goes off, just dig it up......you can never be sure what the mental is without looking. I am happy with this metal detector and would recommend it to anyone.
