My brain hurts
I would give my right arm to be ambidextrous. At least they are doing something that can actually improve themselves . We have most of the educational games and this is one of the most useful. If only you could get an attachment to allow you to drive a monitor or a TV from the card, then your eyes would be allowed to focus at different lengths.

Does it work?
I was intrigued by the concept of this game. Apparently by "exercising" the weak areas of your brain, you can make them stronger, and possibly in the future become ambidextrous. I sat down to test this "game" and I actually had high hopes. You begin by choosing whether you are right or left handed, then do an initial test by using your dominant hand. I'm right handed, and the initial test was pretty easy. Catch come dots, whack some moles, connect some dots, and capture some colored blobs. Pretty easy stuff, and not too graphically intensive for the DS. Next, you will rotate the DS, and begin using your other hand. Using my other hand was easy at first, but about 2 minutes into the 5 minute test, my brain started to hurt. Not so much a headache, but a dull sensation in the back of my head/top of my neck. In fact, talking about it now I get the sensation again. Is this what "working out" your brain feels like? I never feel this way when I'm learning Japanese, or studying for exams, so I know its not because I've never learned anything before (haha!). As to whether or not this actually does what it claims, I'll have to wait and see.Anyhow, as expected I did much better while using my right hand, and the scores weren't quite double, but almost. I hesitate to call this a game, as it really isn't much fun, but more a series of tests, with the hopeful promise at becoming apt in a skill-set you lack. Speaking of, why would I want to become ambidextrous in the first place? What's the point? I can see how this cartridge may be of use to an amputee, but for most of the population, what's the advantage of being able to write with either hand, or perhaps ....? bat switch stance? play reverse guitar? I honestly don't see the point. Maybe this would be useful for you (if it works), but I don't see myself using this program that often.

Dissapointed with "Left Brain Right Brain"
After using Brain Age I and Brain Age II, "Left Brain Right Brain" was a definite dissapointment. Stick with Brain Age I & II!

Good for people who AREN'T already ambidextrous.
I bought this game because I'm ambidextrous and thought it would be a fun thing. I did enjoy it, but I'm bummed because I completed the whole game in just one sitting - which lasted about 45 mins tops.If you're not ambidextrous, I'm sure this game will be a lot better because you can improve your brain. If you are however ambidextrous, I wouldn't buy it.

I am getting it
I am very happy with the exersize left brain right brain. I purchased the program for my husband he is retired and we both think that he needs to keep the mind moving to stay healthy. My husband is one of those that you can not get infront of a PC or a electric game for any reason. But I decided for his 61st birthday to buy him a DS and he is really loving it. I don't hear him slam it shut as much and he is actually coming and showing me his prgress and I think he looks forward to his time in the evening when he works on all his games.
