4S 18650 Battery Holder Case Box for 4X 18650 15V Li-Ion with 6" Wire Leads by Envistia Mall

I am using them to create my own 12 volt batteries from 18650 cells. I power my HAM radio equipment, radios, peripherals and use them as standalone 4 cell batteries, or in series. I add powerpole connectors to the little wires. My only wish is that they use a wire gauge a little bigger. These wires that come with them have to be 26 or 28 gauge. If they could just come with bigger wire that would be awesome. But I cut them and add my own wire. The battery packs I make allow me to hot swap with my existing pool of 18650 cells and charge them when they are depleted in a separate charger. This way I can make battery packs to go out with me in the field or throw in my bag at any time. And when I make the battery packs I do not have to worry about using a BMS since I will be charging the batteries using a 4-cell charger separately. If I use one holder, the four cells together make a 14.6 volt battery at 3ah. When I connect 2 holders (using glue gun) I get a 14.6 volt battery at 6ah. I use blue painters tape to cover everything and it allows me to easily open it up and extract the depleted batteries for charging and pop in fresh charged cells. See my pictures. My batteries are brand new Samsung 18650 3150mah cells from batteryhookup.com. I bought 30 of them for $60. Do the math. I could not find a 6ah LifePo4 battery for this cheap. Overall, I love these battery holders. They hold my 18650's just right, give me versatility with how to use them and do not take up a lot of room at all. I have made two separate purchases and have eight of these holders now. They are perfect for what I need and make for fun wiring projects. Thank you!
