Less expensive with expensive feel
This length checker works great. Very comparable to the more expensive ones sold.

Doesn’t get to 7.8”
Only gets to able 7.740” before threads are no longer engaged. Gonna have to buy another one that actually reaches that to check my engine. Aggravating.

Cheap, rusted, no value marks
Arrived seized. Needed to use a vice and pliers to break loose with WD40. Once taken apart nothing but rust powder poured out. Required compressed air, hot soak and a paint marker to at least give me a reference point for counting how many turns/cycles/revolutions I make when adjusting. I would avoid this tool and just buy the comp cams. My mistake being cheap, you get cheap stuff.

Not .050" per turn like they advertise, it's actually .040"
Not .050" per turn as advertised. The one I received is .040" per turn. Not a deal breaker but if you don't have large calipers to measure the length of this thing then just get the comp cams one.
