I love this Ninja Air Fryer/Oven
I have been using my new Ninja for almost 2 weeks at 4 times a week. I absolutely love it and it's so easy to operate and clean. You barely have to read the instructions to operate it. I wish I would have bought this before I bought the Cuisinart. I have always been a fan of Cusinart, but not this time. It was so hard to clean and I never felt that the air fry function worked very well. The Ninja is just great. I bought the 8 quart 2 drawer, so I can pretty much use it for the whole dinner for my husband and myself. I love the smart feature and match cook feature. The smart feature allows you to put food in both drawers at different temperatures and different times and they will be done at the same time. It also takes up less space than my cusinart. I can't say enough things about this air fryer. I totally recommend it.

Couldn’t Be Happier
This air fryer was much better than my previous fryer. That fryer was recalled so when they refunded my money, I purchased this Ninja Air Fryer. My family uses it alot more than I do but I like it better than microwaves. I do caution you have to be careful using the directions for say something like frozen French fries because if you follow those directions, it may over cook the food.Ninja provides a book and some recipes as well (that I have yet to make) so I really appreciate that.If you like to heat up/cook greasy things frequently, I recommend one of those parchment paper or silicon covers. My family is lazy when it comes to cleaning the baskets so by the time I notice, the grease is caked on there and not easy to get off (it’s non-stick but for some foods you may need to rub or spray some oil. I rarely do.)Oh also if you sensitive smoke detectors, just know there maybe a chance opening the fryer after cooking may set it off (never did it in the kitchen but when we moved it to the dining room, it did it every time). My husband would turn the a/c to help prevent that.

Worth the deal
I like my air fryer.. I purchased a “like new” instead of a brand new one and I’m glad I did. It is virtually brand new, no signs of usage at all and packed in its original box like it was never opened. The air fryer is of great quality, good weight, good overall size and not heavy at all. It’s look really sleek and it cooks your food fast and perfect, meats are juicy. No use for oil when I air fry, unless I want a crisp top, then I brush or spray some olive oil towards the end. Love the dual baskets and I tend to make different things at one time. Although the baskets are a bit smaller than I’m use to but I’m making it work. Worth the great deal 👍

Switched from Cosori — This Ninja Is Built Better, Cooks Smarter
After my Cosori started having basket sensor issues, I decided to switch — and I’m glad I did. The Ninja DZ550 is in a whole different league. From chicken drumsticks and nuggets to pizza reheats, this thing cooks everything evenly and crispy without needing to shake or flip mid-cook.The airflow system is powerful and consistent. I’ve noticed even thick cuts of meat cook through without drying out, and leftovers come out way better than in a microwave. The dual baskets are great for cooking two foods at once, and the build quality feels a lot more durable than my last air fryer. No sensor issues, no guesswork, just solid performance every time. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Changed the way we cook
I had no idea a product could be so life changing! I used to think an air fryer was just for making comfort foods like tater-tots or french fries. But we now use it for the majority of our meals. And the dual tray system is genius! In about 30 minutes we can heat up some chicken on one side and cook up some green beans on the other side. I also used to make a splattery, oily mess in the mornings when I'd cook up diced potatoes on the stovetop. With the airfryer, I just put them in and get crispy potatoes in less than 15 mins. We don't use our oven, stovetop, or pressure cooker nearly as much now.

Great product but baskets chipping after 1 day
The air fryer works really well. I’ve only had it a couple of days and I’m enjoying using it. My meals cook in 10 minutes flat and it’s reduced the amount of cookware I use for each meal. I got the dual basket because my husband and I eat different proteins so the air fryer has been a huge game changer for us with that.My only criticism is that the paint on the baskets is already chipping and I’m not sure why? I have only hand washed them in warm soapy water and I haven’t used a metal scourer when cleaning them… so this is a bit concerningUpdate:I called Ninja for support on the chipping baskets (this was day 4 of owning the air fryer and 3 days of using it). They will send out replacement for both baskets free of charge however they no longer have them in grey so I only have the option of black replacement baskets. Slightly miffed with this so I’ve changed my review to 4*

My Go-To Kitchen Appliance: Fast, Crispy, Effortless
I use my air fryer multiple times a week, some weeks daily, and it has completely transformed how I cook. It’s fast, cooks incredibly well (especially using one basket at a time), and delivers consistently crispy, delicious results. Even when I use both baskets, the performance is still great. It's super quiet, doesn’t leave lingering smells, and is easy to clean by hand. I dont even need oil and only use a bit when I do use it.The controls are simple and clear, though I do have to be a bit careful with bumping the temp knob by accident. That’s a tiny issue compared to all the wins. It’s absolutely perfect for 1 to 2 people, and I often don’t even need both baskets. I especially love making fish in it, and it has been a game changer for my diet. Meat turns out so juicy and easy, and even veggies and leftovers reheat like a dream. It’s one of my favorite appliances and my second most-used piece of cookware. So fun and simple to use that I actually feel like a real chef. Worth every penny. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.
