A total waste of time! NOTHING of any benefit or interesting in any way! What a shame. SO glad I borrowed u It from the library.Joe, we loved you in 4rd Rock, but maybe you really were an alien. You seem to have NO connection to the real world.

I believe more should watch this movie. It is full of substance about relationships. Porn is surface and too many think that is what is satisfy and what love is, and how a sexual relationship is. NO it is not....There is more to a relationship, to include a sexual relationship. Finding the right person matters, meshing your feelings and life....this movie needs to be watched with an open mind.

This is an extraordinary film because of where it *doesn't* go. On the surface clips & trailers indicate a celebratory story of how a narcissistic, materialistic man is knocked out of it by a wise and beautiful woman who wants him to improve himself. But it doesn't quite end there. The movie is actually a warning of the increasing inhumanity that is descending on western culture as we become more solipsistic & divorced from a humane identity. In the end Don Jon's "soul" is saved in a most unlikely & profound way - and this movie is a beautiful fist of rebellion against the rise of a self absorbed online politic and disconnection from one other that seems to escalate daily.A terrific cast including 'Actress of Her Generation' (imo) Juliaanne Moore & a nuanced performance by Scarlet Johannesan (you have to watch the whole movie to see what she's bringing to the part) render flawless & well observed characterisation, with an almost silent Brie Larson & the writer pulling off a terrific trick where her character steals the movie with just one line!!! Special kudos to Tony Danza and Gleanne Headley as Jon Don's constantly arguing but adorable parents. Good effort Mr Lewitt.

Really suprised me, captivating and engaging storyline. Really under rated movie highly recommend to anyone who's a fan of any of the actors involved

Muy buena película

Loved this film on sky movies so I knew it was a dvd that belonged in my collection. It's so well told and the actors in this film really do a good job of portraying the different expectations that people want out of a relationship. Joseph was fantastic per usual! A must watch for any romance comedy fan!

Not quite what we were expecting (contains very frequent porn footage!) but it's done in an amusing way and the film isn't entirely predictable... no wait, it is. But who can complain - it's got a great cast!
