Alnicov Adjustable Saddle Bridge with Thimbles for Mustang Jaguar and Jazzmaster Guitar, Chrome

I've had some decent parts from Alnicov in the recent past but this Mustang/Jaguar bridge is absolute junk.The saddle screws simply aren't long enough to allow correct intonation. The fit between the bridge posts and the thimbles is too tight so the bridge doesn't rock as designed (a key part of the design). The post screws aren't pointed.The thimbles were each full, and I mean FULL of rust, and there was rust around the weld of one post and the baseplate. The access holes for the pivot screws were also full of rust. The pivot screws are only around 12mm long so you need a long allen key to access them, and finding the head is tricky.The positive reviews for this item are baffling. Maybe they're written by someone who has no idea how the real thing is supposed to work. Don't waste your money.

I own a real version of this bridge so, when I say that it's designed badly, what I mean is that the main function of this bridge is to rock back and forth. This is copied by someone who doesn't know how is functions and doesn't do what it's supposed to do. The parts that hole the bridge in place are too small and don't let the bridge move. It doesn't work.The bridge is also rusty, as some of the other reviews show, and the chrome is coming off.I had to put one star review, zero stars wasn't allowed.

I mistakenly stripped the bridge height screw on my Squire Bass Vi. I received this one overnight. It is a direct fit drop in bridge. Would recommend.

Peça de baixa qualidade e que não passa boa impressão. Os selins não permitem quase ajuste nenhum devido ao tamanho dos parafusos e molas. Não recomendo a compra, melhor esperar um pouco e investir numa peça de qualidade. No meu caso, ficarei com ela por ser a única ponte de guitarras offset que permite algum ajuste de altura e preciso disto pois vou colocá-la numa guitarra de 12" de raio de perfil da escala. Mas vou ter que procurar parafusos e molas novas para conseguir utilizá-la. Nas fotos, a comparação com uma ponte Mustang que veio numa Squier Jaguar que tenho.Low quality piece that doesn't make a good impression. The saddles allow almost no adjustments due to the size of the screws and springs. I do not recommend the purchase, better wait a little and invest in a quality piece. In my case, I'll keep it because it's the only offset guitar bridge that allows some height adjustment and I need this because I'm going to put it on a guitar with a 12" radius of fretboard profile. But I'll have to look for new screws and springs to be able to use it. In the photos, the comparison with a Mustang bridge that came on a Squier Jaguar that I have.

Finalmente un ponte che vada bene per Squier Jaguar Vintage Modified.Il trick del ponte della Mustang funziona solo sulle Jag con radius di 7.5” mentre sulla Squier Vintage Modified il radius è di 9.5” e i ponti per Mustang risultano troppo bassi e le corde friggono. Questo ponte mi ha permesso di abbassare l’action e regolarlo per un radius di 9.5” risolvendo anche il problema del ponte originale Jaguard delle corde che uscivano dalla sede delle stesse. Consiglio vivamente anche un abbassa corde per il ponte, anche quello contribuisce a tenere le corde al loro posto e riduce la risonanza delle corde dall’attacco delle corde al ponte!
