This band is strickly an instrumental Southern Rock Jam band, and they can really "jam". In this dvd sleeve notes they state the band is from Geogia, but I think they originally formed, down in Florida. Punk SandwichThis is a great Instumental, Southern Rock, "Jam" band. So if you don't like instrumental, this one is not for you. However, if you do like this kinda music, then I highly recommend it. My husband has been a fan of Dixie Dregs for as long as I've known him. I was looking for something special to get him for Christmas this year and found this DVD on Amazon. My husband's reaction was priceless. He gives the DVD a resounding two thumbs up. His only complaint, which is the same complaint he has with most music videos, is that when a particularly good guitar riff is happening, the camera is shooting somewhere else. That irritates him so much! He truly loves this DVD.

Dreg's fans unite...have seen them live and Steve solo many time...pretty good show, a bit heavy on Alan...but the extras are more recent including the Industry Standard line on Bandstand with TL on keys and Mark on violin/guitar and even feature Alex on vocals (ala Sanatan's Zebop)..that makes it a must have for the real fans... I gave it a 4 due to the mix but other than than that it smokes.

I follow along with all other reviews about sound quality and "Allen Sloan Show", but I am a Dregs fan thru and thru ! I would rather see this than not ! I am a huge Meat Puppets fan and their only DVD offering sucks for production and sound quality, but I would not be without it and take it for what it is. A chance to watch a band in it's hey day at any quality is better than not ! If in fact you bought this to see Steve, do yourself a favor and buy the Steve Morse Band DVD. He is front and center and you can get all the notes you need. I do hope someday Steve throws another show out that has all assets of true quality and mixing. Hell, I just want more Steve ! Being selfish !

Excellent !!! No singing but plenty of kick ass music.

If you actually need a review of this band and you have a question about this CD/DVD then you haven't heard their music ...It's Steve Morse...... in his younger days.... Even then, one of the best lead players ever!.... Nuff said.....

The Dregs at the height of their powers, performing some eye-poppingly complex music with great spirit and what looks like an astonishingly relaxed attitude. These men are enjoying themselves ! Superb performance, well filmed and well mixed - what more do you want ?

Must be one of the live bands ever.Tight fantastic musicianship all round.If your a fan of steve morse,Dregs or well played music in a progressive rock ,country vein it`s a must buy.

L'esecuzione è ottima. La qualità audio e video anche. La durata è piuttosto contenuta. La regia invece lascia un poco a desiderare. Praticamente inquadra quasi sempre il violinista. Per carità onore al merito anche a lui, ma gli altri e soprattutto Morse sono inquadrati poco rispetto a Sloan.Comunque consigliato ai fans della band sudista

Dixie Dregs a su mejor nivel en vivo. Fenomenal actuación.
