I bought a couple of these in different colors as I could not decide which one I like better. I ended up choosing the darker ones as they looked better with my skin color. I’m 6’2” 180 pounds and normally wear 34 waist pants. I followed other reviews and ordered the 36 to size up. That is not needed. The Lederhosen are true to size. I reordered in size 34 and they fit perfectly. There are straps in the back which you can adjust and probably gain an inch or so if you need some extra room for the beer and brats. These are 100% leather. Smells great (if you like the smell of leather). They are made in Pakistan, not China. I’ve worn them around the house to make sure there are no loose seams or buttons and everything looks real sturdy. There’s very nice satin like inner lining. Similar to what you would find in a suit. I’m very impressed with the quality. However be careful. One of the lederhosen came without the lining. I think this is a manufacturing defect. You definitely want this lining so it feels cool on your skin.

I ordered the Bavarian Trachten to use as a Halloween costume this year, and four and October fest event that my wife and I were attending. I was very impressed with the quality of these lederhosen, and with the attention to detail, and authentic design. I would note that, at least, for me, the lederhosen ran slightly large. Fortunately, there is some lacing in the back to adjust the size a little bit.

I bought these to replace the lederhose I originally bought from another vendor that did not include the suspenders. They are beautifully adorned with embroidery and the suede is genuine. My boyfriend says they are comfortable, and they look great on him! Instead of going with his pants size, I measured the circumference of the waist of his favorite denim shorts (tag says size 36, but measurement read 38"). After reading reviews, I decided to order size 38 and they fit perfectly. "Tight but comfortable" which I believe is the goal. Anywhoozle, my boyfriend is super happy (he has been wearing them the past couple of hours). Also, the Bavarian Trachten shop have been given Feli's blessing (if you know, you know)!

You can’t go wrong if you are looking for these as they are very high quality and the look and feel good. We got so many compliments. On,y word of advice is that they are not like jeans or anything else. They are high quality material that is stiff and you need to order a little larger size to fit right. I had to order twice but no problem with return and repurchase.

Sizing on these seems very tricky. The diagram recommends measuring above your hips which resulted in ordering too large of a size. I would recommend measuring your waist or going by your normal pants waist.Other then that they look really good. Are pretty comfy and appear to be well out together.Returns were easy on wrong sizes. Overall very happy with these.

I wanted my husband to have authentic Lederhosen to wear when I wore the Dirndl I bought in German some years ago--but we weren't going back to Germany soon enough! I was very happy to find the Trachten Bavaria store through Amazon. The products are designed in Germany and are authentic in styling, but the prices are very reasonable, presumably because the items are actually made in Pakistan. I appreciate that the company is up-front about that. We are pleased with the quality and fit, and my husband finds the Lederhosen comfortable.When we both wear our Bavarian clothes for Oktoberfest celebrations (and a Halloween dance, too), we get lots of compliments! I highly recommend the Trachten Bavaria Store.

I followed the sizing guide and the product I received was much too small. Disappointed!!

I bought this for an Oktoberfest event. I removed the tags so now I can’t return it and while I was at the event I noticed one of the belt loops was coming off. I didn’t even use the belt loop. This review would have gotten 5 stars if not for the workmanship issue.

Perfectly true to size. The quality is great and they are just like ones we had sent while in Germany! But way cheaper... I don't even understand how they are making money on these. They are so nice. And comfortable.
