Cool handful of experiments
There are about 15 simple experiments that you can do with this kit. They are pretty easy and there is a small instructional booklet. However, I wish this booklet used simpler language and went step-by-step so that even an 8 to10-year-old could understand and follow the instructions. There were only 3 experiments that caught my eye. They involve UV light and making your own bouncy balls. Sounds interesting. Still, I wish there were more interesting experiments like making your own slime or turning off candles with invisible gas and things like that. However, for the price, it's not bad. It will make the kid in question feel like "a real scientist".

Over priced but fun
The experiments were amazing for my 3 and 5 yo. The quality is low but it does its job. It provided a few hours of entertainment for the whole family.

Great value
My son loved this kit. Very fun, simple and we got 4 days of activities out of it

Santa Came Early
This year I decided to start Christmas before the 24th like I usually do, being rushed and buying last minute junk without thought. This year I decided to hop for my grandson at the same time as his birthday in February. While browsing Amazon for gift ideas for 6 year old boys, who have to many electronic options to fill their mind with nonsense, and attention span of a squirrel, I found this little gem. Great price for a basic kit with educational, yet fun science experiments to keep the attention of this generation who's attention can only be held by toys that have batteries and flashing lights and whistles, or a keyboard, joystick and a video monitor.I'm sure I'm more excited than he will be, but this will be something we can do together. Science is my love, I hope I can wait until X-mas without opening it myself.

Definitely for older kids
The box itself looks pretty antiquated and it says 6+ (unlike the description on the site). So that was disappointing as I'm trying to push STEM activities for my younger (4yo) niece. that aside, we had a fun afternoon with it, but it was definitely a bit too complex and advanced for someone not yet in kindergarten. We did have fun though, but recommend definitely 6+ - maybe closer to 8 or 9 to really have it be a learning experience and not just have the child follow your directinos without an understanding of what we were really doing.
