I started taking adult hip hop and heels dance classes in my 30s, and these knee pads have been absolutely perfect for both. They’re comfortable, stay in place, and provide great protection without feeling or looking bulky. They fit easily under baggy jeans and over sweats (see photos) without slipping or restricting movement. I do a lot of floor work, knee rolls, and transitions, and these have literally saved my knees from bruises. Several girls in my class weren’t wearing knee pads and ended up with visibly bruised knees, while mine stayed completely protected. If you’re an adult dancer (or getting back into dance later in life like me), these are a must-have. Comfortable, effective, and totally worth it! Highly recommend! Good product. The material is comfortable and easy to wear—not too tight or too loose. I used it during my Spur Ride with no issues at all, and it protected my knee the entire time.

Nice padding and stay

The cushioning is comfortable for kneeling and works well for brief contact with the floor. I even tried using them for bag training with knee strikes, though that’s not really what these are designed for—they’re meant more for knee sliding on polished floors, as the label “volleyball knee pads” suggests. Over time, the cushioning does compress, especially with extended use on hard surfaces. Overall, these are an affordable option for lighter knee activities, but not ideal for heavy-impact or long-duration protection.

I have a drawer full of knee pads I've purchased over the years, some fit better than others. While these are advertised for dancers, I'm a guy with sore knees (from my Army days), and the Medium fit me well (I'm a slender guy). What I like besides the nice fit, is that they are slim enough to fit under pants and not show very much. So if I'm going somewhere where I may need to be on my knees a lot (like skydiving and riding up in a small Cesna on your knees), I can wear these and not look like I'm wearing them. 5-stars!

Pros, it does protect my knees from the hard floor while dancing and it has not frayed or ripped. However, they hurt/ burn the back of my knees. They do also roll down and move around. I do have larger thighs but i would hope that they would not be something i constantly am messing with. They look fine i guess, but for the future i am going to save the money and just buy really nice ones with an opening in the back.

I bought these for my heels class in March and have worn them once a week. It is now 3 months later and one of them is in good condition but the other one's internal padding has split in half. I am not sure why one has lasted in one piece and one has worn through the padding. Otherwise they are comfortable. I am 5'3" 115 lbs and got a medium. They stay up and are snug on the leg without being too tight or digging into my thigh. They stretch over my leg whether I am wearing shorts or leggings. They are a good price, but I'm not sure how long knee pads are supposed to last, so they don't seem very durable to me, or at least they are inconsistent. I would consider buying them one more time just to see if I can get a pair that lasts longer because they are a good price, but I am browsing other brands as well.
