Cute and fun
Updated: I really wanted to enjoy this but it seems I’m spending more on batteries than the toy may be worth. I’ve switched them out so many times and the last time the whale only worked twice. Ridiculous. Maybe defective but disappointing.I bought this because I saw it on TikTok. It is very cute and my little one loves it. It does take 3 batteries which I didn’t know or failed to read the description. I’m not sure if this is a defect or not but at times the water doesn’t flow to the full capacity and will just be a little coming out of the spout. There is no switch, once the toy detects water, the little motor makes sound to push the water out. You will hear the sound the whole time it’s running.

Battery life poor
Like the way it works but the batteries won’t last for more than one bath time. We don’t even run it the full time during bath.

MY CHILD LOVED
THIS WAS A GREAT BATH TOY FOR MY CHILD. IT WAS SOMETHING THEY PLAYED WITH EVERY BATH. IT NEVER GOT ANY WATER IN IT SO THERE WAS NEVER ANY MOLD LIKE MOST BATH TOYS. WE HAD THIS FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS AND I DON'T THINK I HAD TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES ONCE.

Good but not great for reasons listed
Pros-We have had this for about 2-3 weeks now and really like it. You just stick it in the water and it floats around and lights up different colors and squirts out water through the top. Our baby is 7 months old and right now prefers anything that can go in his mouth.Cons-He loves looking at this toy Visually during his bath but once he tried to eat it and started coughing because the water squirted all the way in his mouth. So definitely not a toy for chewing on. Another dislike I would say is how loud the motor is. Also, the fact that batteries are in a water toy kind of scares me. When you take it out of the water the machine is still running until it figures out it is not in water anymore. It kind of mates me think this is a fire hazard. Also, we have little guy in a small blow up bath tub within our bath tub and with it being such a small space the toy is constantly shooting the water in his face. I think if we had him in a bigger space this wouldn’t be an issue.Overall I think it’s a good toy.
