Rubbermaid Brilliance Glass Storage 4.7-Cup Food Containers with Lids Set of 3 Clear

I wanted to get away from the plastic containers and go with glass. The trade-off is glass containers will be heavier. But we’re good with that. Pros: * Seals tight. I filled them all up with water and turn them upside down and none of them leaked. * Durable. While we wash the glass in the dishwasher, we still choose to wash the tops by hand even though they say they are dishwasher safe. Unlike some brands, these tops appear very durable. Looks like this set will last for many years. * Interchangeable tops. Several of the sizes use the same tops. * Stackable. This style stacks better than any that we’ve had before. I really like the rectangle sizes. They Stack in the cabinets or refrigerator more efficiently than our old round ones. They also fit perfectly in our lunch box for work. * Sizes. Everyone’s needs are different but these particular sizes meet our needs perfectly. No itty-bitty containers. Perfect sizes for leftovers and lunches. Cons: * Price. I did not go looking for other options to see if this set was significantly cheaper elsewhere. But they do appear a bit pricey. * My issue was trying to find the sizes of the containers that are included in this nine piece set (9 containers with 9 tops). So below is what we received: 1 (8 cup) @ 11-1/2” x 7-1/2” x 2-3/4” tall 1 (4.7 cup) @ 8” x 5-1/4” x 3-1/2” tall 2 (3.2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2-1/2” tall 2 (2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2” tall 3 (1.3 cups) @ 5-3/4” x 3-3/4” x 2-3/4” tall After using this set for a few more months, we will see what sizes we use most and supplement it with more of the same brand of containers. We like doing our food prep over the weekends and this style is perfect for our needs. They do keep our food fresher for a longer period of time due to the tight seal. Plus we like not having our food in plastic due to all the health concerns (especially when we warm up our food in the microwave). Hope this helps you.

Just received these containers and I think they are a quality product. The lids are easy to use and seal quite well. They take up less room in my fridge than other containers I’ve used in the past but still hold a lot. I like the variety of sizes. I think the lids will hold up nicely as long as they’re treated carefully.

I got this for my parents.They said it works really well for food storage.They like it is glass and not plastic.They said it is a good size and good quality.Great value for money.Came with great packaging and in good condition.Would buy again and would highly recommend.

If you have the plastic rubbermaid meal prep containers, upgrade to this one. It will save you your sanity when cleaning. The glass has no smell but it is more fragile. Perfect for salads, bowls, meal preparations, and leftovers.

these are good glass containers to store leftovers, and heat up in the microwave if needed. Also good for meal preps or packing a lunch for work.

Rubbermaid products usually perform excellently. These do not disappoint. I purchased these to replace well-used Tupperware. They are excellent. Just the size for storage of so many things. They stack in cabinet or frig to utilize space. Seal is tight. Dishwasher safe. Only caution that I have is weight— I have significant arthritis in my hands and these are heavier of course than plastics. But I do like these so much! Highly recommend.

Brilliantly designed! These are perfect in so many ways: 1) They are only rectangular in shape. Circular food storage containers just waste space, and having a mix has always bugged me. 2) The heavy-duty glass does not produce shards of glass like other food storage snap glass brands I have used. 3) The lid is amazing. Many snap lids from other manufacturers have creased folds in the plastic. These creased folds are DESIGNED to fail. Rubbermaid took a different road and made the snaps from a different plastic piece altogether. 4) The handles of the glass do not get hot, even after a long time in the microwave. They also make it very easy to transport security. 5) The lid is microwave safe and won't get stained by tomatoes 6) There are only 3 lid sizes; this makes it super easy to find the right lid for your container 7) Water-tight/fantastic seal 8) Unlike the food storage containers with creased lid tabs, these tabs do not get stuck in the grooves of the dishwasher. 9) They fit so nicely in the fridge, sitting on top of each other. Very minor cons: 1) They don't have a divided glass storage container (They only make plastic ones) 2) Wished they had a 1/2 cup container 3) Wished they had a 9, 10, or 12 cup container 4) Wished they had a 6-cup container 5) They could have flared the glass ever-so-slightly more so that it stacked a little more compactly (For storage, I stack the 1-cup sizes together, the 3-cup sizes together, the 8-cup sizes together, etc.) 6) The plastic lids will likely eventually get brittle and crack. I hope they sell replacement lids at that point.

Pricey, but there glass is sturdy and easy to clean. Good variety of sizes. Might need one smaller than what I got for sauces and leftover garnish. I like that the lids work with the other set I have too.

ZERO stars. Lids snap and break on corners. So all of the lids are cracked and missing chunks. Edges are sharp enough that I’ve cut myself. They seal so tight you can’t open them. Some days I have to wait for husband to come home to open them. Which is a ridiculous situation to be in. Then even he has a very difficult time. Absolute garage. I can’t believe a product can be such bad quality and UNFUNCTIONAL

We are pretty fussy and these containers are great quality. They seal well and yes the lids are a bit tight to start off with but hey better than leaking yeah. We bought a large kit with 2 large containers,medium, small and the smaller size that are good for nuts or say protein powder to take with you to work. I use the size pictured for 70gm of home made oat mix with yogurt & blueberries, works perfect. These containers wash up well and are very durable.

Product was def well designed with user experience in mind. Easy to remove lid, great quality glass, versatile for microwave, oven cooking, and easy to clean. The rubber lining on lid can be removed for cleaning :) The company was also very efficient with shipment and constantly updated me on its status via WhatsApp as well.
