Bitter Apple Spray saved Christmas!
I had the pleasure of purchasing Bodhi Doh Premium Bitter Apple No Chew Spray when my sweet baby angel cat decided that this would be the year he was going to destroy Christmas by chewing on the artificial tree he barely ever even registered existed years prior. Traditional attempts to deter his attention were throttled by his unwavering will to take down the illuminated beacon to which a cookie gobbling Satan is guided into our homes by. I was bamboozled by my first attempt at a no chew spray by a dastardly Amazon seller whose tactic of updating a single listing with different products resulted in review confusion and a bottle of "Don't Pee Here" spray arriving at my door. In desperation "Don't Pee Here" went on the tree, but my feline Grinch continued to chomp on those wired branches. Fate (and much better reading on my part) brought me to Bodhi Doh Premium Bitter Apple No Chew Spray to which Satan... I mean Santa's Prime delivery elf placed at my front door. Christmas would be saved this day. With a scent akin to pure rubbing alcohol, I sprayed and sprayed covering the entire circumference of the tree to which my precious angel boys teeth could reach. Despite being engulfed in bitter apple fumes and now having an index finger aching from the constant spraying, upon walking up to his target that cat scoffed, tasted, scoffed again, AND WALKED AWAY NEVER TO CHEW AGAIN! (Well... it's been a week!) In short: I sprayed VERY generously; it smells abysmal, but the small dissipates quickly and is worth suffering for a few minutes); I am fairly certain I will need to reapply the spray at some point, but it's been one week with my cats not chewing my Christmas tree.

Not good for fight deterrence.
I have Boston Terriers. Long story short, the pups try to kick their dad's butt. I had successfully used Bitter Apple spray in the past to make dogs stop fighting. I decided I would try this product. Sadly, when once again the boys attacked their dad I jumped into action and pointed the nozzle into their mouths and sprayed and sprayed. You have to be careful not to get it in their face, and the spray nozzle only mists, so you basically have to put it in their mouths. Nothing. They just kept tearing each other up like I gave them a drink of water. And they busted the top off, so 7/8 of the bottle dumped on the floor. I managed to get them corralled and kennelled and decided to taste the stuff myself. Put some in my hand, dipped a finger tip, put it on ny tongue... oh my. It is awful. It is absolutely horrible. I have no idea how my dogs weren't deterred by it. And it lasts for a good 20 minutes even after rinsing constantly. So, once you get it on a surface, it's staying there for a while. I imagine this product works fine to deter dogs from mild licking caused by boredom, OCD, and bandaged wounds, but it doesn't phase fighting dogs unfortunately.

Didn’t work will for us
Maybe it works? My dog still licks after the first few licks, then seemingly succumbs to the flavor and keeps on going. It was worth a try!!!!

Stops wound licking!
My dog had an injury and wouldn’t let it heal, this worked very well. She still licks at it a little bit but it looks way better and is finally healing.

DID NOT WORK FOR OUT TEETHING PUPPY!
did not work for our ATM 7 month old puppy from ripping up the couch! not sure if it was the ingredients, or the brand. i even went with this brand over the cheaper brand based on the reviews! i followed the directions per the bottle, which i sprayed it for 3-4 days. still nothing. she ripped up the couch cushion she had already been working on, which we had already covered more! i don't know if this means i got a wrong batch or something, but there wasn't a strong smell to the product, which i thought there would be!

Worked on a few things
So the pros on this are that yes, it is bitter! I sprayed many things out puppy was interested in chewing into oblivion and some ended up on myself as well because I was also a high value chew toy to him. I licked my hand and yuck! Bitter! I would assume this would deter a chew-crazy puppy and for the most part it did, however for things he was still super interested in it did not stop him, including but not limited to: the carpet, his crate, and various cloth items around the living room. What it did work well on was his leash, power cables and cords and furniture legs. I don't know why some did work and others didn't but I like the results nonetheless. Good product but depends on your dog's tolerance for bitter taste.

No success
My dog is still chewing my furniture. My she special, I don't know but this spray has done nothing for my furniture. I will keep trying before I decide to give her away.

For my bunny
Unfortunately this did not work for my needs. I bought this in hopes that my rabbit would stop chewing furniture. But it did not. But it may work for a different pet.

Ne fonctionne pas
Je ne sais pas pour les autres chiens, l’odeur est très amère donc j’imagine que ça pourrais fonctionner pour certain mais avec mon bébé berger allemand ça ne fonctionne pas.
