Bought for my husband as he has been searching the shops looking for aniseed balls for weeks and these are lovely exactly how he remembers them, thank you very much

I hadn't had aniseed balls in years and these didn't disappoint! They didn't have the exact same taste as to what I was used to as a kid, but that could be for a variety of reasons. An enjoyable sweet to play around with in your mouth, just remember not to chew on them too early or you'll damage your teeth! A great gift idea for Old Timers (pun intended). I keep them next to my desk and snack on them every now and again. Easy to reseal and they last a long time. You won't need to reorder them for a while, you'd have to have one every day for 3 months and you still might not finish the thing. The aftertaste is fairly pleasant, but not as impactful as to what I had when I was kid, again there could be plenty of reasons for this. Worth the buy though and great to introduce to kids what old quality sweets were like back in the day.

I used to love aniseed balls as a kid and so thought I’d treat myself. You get a decent amount in a plastic jar with a lid that screws shut to help keep the candy fresh. When I ate my first one I was initially disappointed, but after a few seconds the familiar aniseed flavour came through, just like I remember.If you used to like aniseed balls, these won’t let you down!

Brought as a gift. They were loved by the person whom they were for. Had a good aniseed taste. Jar is made of plastic but is reusable. Lasted about a six weeks before that we're all eaten.
