Looks and works great
I have had a number of these to hang a Taylor acoustic, a Yamaha acoustic, Fender American Pro Strat, Gibson SG, and even a very heavy and expensive Traditional Les Paul (no weight relief). It is great how the joint rotates to fit a Fender headstock. So far, I have had no problems. These look great and work great. Just a few recommendations that I have followed:1. For heavy guitars (electric and specially Les Pauls) make sure you are bolting/screwing into the wall stud. If it is a Les Paul, go to the hardware store and get a larger screw that can go deeper.I got a screw that is much longer and has almost the same diameter as the screw that fits the hanger. I just had to slightly make the holes in the anger larger with a drill.I found the studs (vertical wood frames) in the wall using a stud finder. Then drill a small diameter pilot hole so you can screw into it later. Then drill a hole to fit the plastic anchor that comes with the Hercules. Make this hole the length of the anchor (no t deeper) and a little smaller in diameter than the anchor. So, you can gently hammer in the anchor. Then, use the longer screw to manually screw into the anchors. Since the screw is longer, it will go through the plastic anchor and also go past the hanger and the small pilot hole into the wood stud for extra security.Do not use an impact drill since this can put too much torque and impact on the screw and break off the head of the screw. Or, cause the head to of the screw to weaken and later shear off and drop the hanger.2. For Gibson Les Paul, I have heard the foam on the hanger could damage and mark the finish. So, I got a small microfiber towel and cut it into a ribbon and wrapped it around the hanger and over the foam so the guitar finish does not touch the foam.I was especially very cautious and worried about hanging a Les Paul on a hanger. But, so far, with the extra measures like using a bigger screw and being right on the stud, it has been a very solid connection. I dont think you can even kick the hanger off the wall easily.3. If you live in a earthquake prone area or a are worried about kids hitting your guitar and making the guitar swing back and hit the back of it onto the wall, there is a solution for that too. I noticed the SG model wont swing much because how the headstock is cut. However, the others guitars, including Les Paul will swing back enough to hit the wall.To avoid this, I got a thin 2.5" by 12" wood board from Michael's. I figured out where the guitar would hot the wall if it swings. Then, using a small screw, I screwed the board on that approximate location. Then, I cut a piece of soft foam that I also got from the craft store, cut it the size of the board and glued that on top of the wood board. Now, if the guitar goes back, it hits the foam. You can do this by just gluing the foam on to the wall. But, by doing that, when you take off the foam, your wall and paint might come off with it. So, if you use the wood board and screw, it keeps your wall from getting messed up from glue and foam.

Best hanger out there
These hangers are great! I originally hung a few instruments on the wall using these and I love the way that they look, and they are very functional as well. I now have four of them up on my wall and I am very pleased with them.Pros:This version with the wood backing is very nice, in my opinion looks much classier than the metal version, but I guess it depends on the overall look of your home or where ever you are hanging them.Easy to install, uses only two screws and all the hardware was included. The mounting system is absolutely perfect, it could fall off the wall and I would still give the mounting system an A+. The whole interior of the grip is padded, so there is no chance of your neck getting nicked. The money comes in the spring loaded design. When the weight of the guitar is on the grip, it pulls it down and activated the locking mechanism that closes the arms (think of the bumpers on a pinball machine going up). This means that even in the unlikely event of say an earthquake, these things will not fall off. And to remove the guitar, simply lift and the arms open downward allowing you to pull the guitar out. This means I never have to worry about it falling off, or if a small child accidentally bumps it, it will not fall on them.Works on all of my guitars so far. It can even swivel to an angle to accommodate my Stratocaster, however, I think that the Telecaster head is much smaller, I would be interested to see if that would be held securely.Cons:If there is anything to complain about, it would only be when using the mount in the diagonal (swiveled for Stratocaster head) orientation. When mounted this way, you need to be careful to tilt the guitar to match the angle of the mount when pulling it out or else the arm will catch the edge of your neck. Not a big deal, but I need to be honest in my feedback. Conclusion:Overall I would highly recommend these hangers for your guitars. People who see them absolutely love the way that they look, and they are even more impressed when they pull the guitars down from the walls to see how the arms lock and unlock so seamlessly. If you want a guitar hanger that just works, I would be surprised if you could find anything better. This is the hanger that every guitar shop would use if they didn't need to buy so many.

Très bon produit
La marque "Hercules" fait dans la bonne qualité. Très bon support mural. Il faut juste faire attention car certains vernis ne supportent pas les mousses de protection de ces supports.
