1-1/2" Purdy 144152315 XL Glide Angled Sash Paint Brush, Tynex Orel

I’ve been working on painting my whole interior house and have been trying out different brushes in the process. The purdy brushes are by far superior and worth the money. The paint glides on so much smoother.

Enamel paint went on smoothly. Updating railings. Fantastic brush!!!

These are the best brushes for cutting in (painting edges of walls). They are consistent and make clean lines. They also hold up really well. I had my last brush for 4 years (probably 10,000 ft of wall edge) before I lent it to my brother and he did not clean it out. Expensive to buy upfront, but cheap if you treat it well and paint a lot.

I have tried to purchase cheaper brushes in the past and I have always came back to Purdy.Number one.

Don't bother buying any other brand. It's worth the extra couple of bucks. Trust me, I'm not expert painter but I've done plenty of it and if you want to minimize streaks and imperfections in your hard work of painting, it's all about the brush. Don't let paint dry in it, and when you wash it out use only cold water and let it hang downward. If you do this, it will last for years and save you money in the end.

We tried many different cheap and even more expensive brushes while painting throughout our house and someone finally recommended this Purdy brush. We love it so much we bought another! It cuts in very well. Didn't even tape off the trim or ceilings. Although we also used the Shur-Line Paint Edger and that really helped too. The paint goes on smooth and evenly with the Purdy brush. Great product and great price!

Worked great!

I had bought a set of Purdy paint brushes from Home Depot when we were painting our basement, and after painting several rooms and doing lots of trim work, the 1 1/2" paint brush was tired and the bristles were starting to fan out too much. Wanting to maintain a complete set, I bought this single brush to go along with my existing 2" angled brush and 3" flat brush. The Purdy paint brushes all worked well, painting smoothly with comfortable handles. I do find if the paint gets up near the ferrule, it can be nearly impossible to clean, which then causes the bristles to fan out and ultimately become useless. I would have given this brush 5 star if it weren't so expensive. I ended up paying $16, while Home Depot had a 3 piece set with brush comb for just $25.

Been using purdy angular brushes for a few years, fantastic for cutting in and they last a long time. Brilliant quality
