I like this seat because it 1) easy to put together, 2) adds a nice touch to my bathroom, 3) is a soft, quiet close and best of all 4) can be removed to easily clean your toilet. Note: adjust it to the appropriate snugness or the menfolk might snatch it off being to rough lifting the seat. Always measure your toilet correctly for the right size lid and you're good to go.

Where to start? I’ve installed a few toilet seats in my life and this was the easiest ever. Once the old seat is removed, you need no tools beyond what is in the box. You can adjust the seat to your comfort by the installation holes. The instructions are clear and have good illustrations of how the parts go together. The seat and cover are solid and strong. No floppy weak plastic. The hinges are metal and well made. I have confidence that this seat will last me many years. It has a soft close lid so no banging or noise. The look is classic and very clean. I was able to pick a color to match the decor I had previously chosen. No mismatched surfaces or cobbled together look. I would recommend this company and their products to anyone looking to buy them. I’ll be making future purchases from them as well.

I bought one of these round toilet seats for an infrequently used second bathroom. I liked its looks and the slow-closing lid, so I purchased another oval one for our main bathroom. The first issue I had was that the front lip of the oval toilet seat is 1.25 inches too short to cover the toilet. There is a mistake in the instructions that Ty pointed out in another review, so we followed his advice when we installed it. After following Ty's advice for installing the seat, it appeared to sit firmly with no shifting from side to side. Then the second issue arose. I noticed that the supports towards the front of the toilet seat do not rest entirely on the toilet. Eventually, this caused the seat to shift from one side to the other when in use, as the front support allowed it, giving the user quite a surprise! The third issue is that the lid would not remain upright while the toilet was cleaned and while in use by a male who wished to stand while using the toilet. It would slowly close, necessitating it being held in an upright position. The fourth issue is that the toilet is made of wood, but it is not solid wood. Just a month after use, the seat cracked on one side between the seat supports, pinching the user's buttocks. At that point, we could see that the seat was made of very thin plywood, topped with a pressed wood composite material. All of this wood material was covered with wood-colored Contact paper that resembled wood. So the term 'wood' is not entirely accurate. I am frustrated that I spent the money on what I thought was a solid wood toilet seat, which will now go in the trash as soon as I can find a replacement.

A great way to elevate your space. I like that the lid closes slowly and quietly. Easy to clean: wipe with a non chemical cleaner. Harsh stuff like bleach or lysol will cause the finish coating to lift and peel. One note: the seat doesn't stay up if your tank is too big.

I ordered this and it was too short and wiggled back and forth. I return one and the 2nd one did the same thing. HOWEVER, after googling we found it can be adjusted and we tired it and it is now great

I've been doing basic diy everything for about 45 years. During that time, my wife and I discovered that we like wooden toilet seats, so we've had several. When it came time for another one on a new toity I just installed (which came with a cheap seat), thanks to Amazon's availability of so many brands and styles, I came across this brand and the products look brilliant! Great reviews too. It's a bit different in that it's not really solid wood, but it is....it's just chopped up and put back together. Weird, right? Well, no fear, they get much better quality control by doing it this way, and I'm fairly certain it also offers superior durability and lifespan. (The basic solis wood seats do not last forever.... they need replaced occasionally, just fyi as they say). Anyway, it turns out that it's beautiful, solid as a rock, the hardware all looks like great quality, and it all goes together easily. That's all I was looking for.

Very nice looking seat. Easy to install but installation is different. The seat is comfortable and closes slow when it’s secured tight. The problem is that it won’t stay tight and the seat won’t stay up. If you buy it make sure that you keep the little plastic toilet wrench because you Wii be using it about weekly to retighten it.

I loved the silver hardware on the black wood and the finish of the wood. It looks and works exactly like their ad. I bought the elongated and it fits perfectly. I would buy it again and recommend it. You can lift the seat to clean under the hinges 👍🏻

I was excited when I purchased this product for three reasons. #1 It was wood, #2 It had a detachable toilet seat which makes for easier cleaning, and #3 It's black! As soon as the box was delivered, I could hear it was in pieces! The picture above is what it looked like as soon as I removed it from the box. The seat was snapped in half, and as you can see the seat is made from pressed wood (particle board). This was the only seat I could find that was black, and had chrome, detachable hinges. I began the return process immediately, and am pleased to say that I had no issues regarding this. However, when I went to re-order this product 2 days later...the price had gone from $57.96 (tax included) to a whopping $140.86!!!! That's more than double, and beyond rediculous for a black, pressed board, toilet seat! For this reason...and the fact it was broken is why I'm giving it a one star rating!

I love this toilet seat.... but it came damaged... and I didn't realize it until I had installed it ......
