Sizes offered and color choices caught my eye
As a plus size woman, I understand that not every garment is created equal.I was having some swelling due to a medical procedure and my doctor said I should be wearing compression socks. But I wasn’t finding socks that would fit without cutting off circulation and causing pain. My PT said I should look for “wide calf” sizing.I found dozens of pairs, priced outrageously high to the too cheap to be real. Then I found BAMS, offering my size in an assortment of colors and prints. The price wasn’t too bad and I liked some of the designs. I ordered the pink argyle and black with blue toes. They fit pretty well. My first pairs, so I’m getting used to them for their intended purpose. They are really soft. Easy to pull on - there’s no tug-of-war to get them in place. My legs and feet feel so much better, and I am able to get some walking done that was too painful before the socks. My hubby says we should get some more once I’m completely comfortable with these. Hopefully the price will come down some and that they offer more colors and designs for their larger sizes.

They work really well
I bought these for my mother. She is on the heavy side, and her lower legs and ankles have been swelled for years. The size of her calves are about 19 inches in diameter, her ankles are at a brain melting 13 inches, and her foot size is 10. The quality of these socks is excellent, and they fit her perfect. They are tight, but this is what she wanted. Right away she felt better and was able to walk with a lot less pain. Also, within a day, the swelling on both lower legs/ankle area has reduced by as much as 40%. We are both shocked at the positive results. I went ahead and ordered her four more pairs.

Longer (taller) than expected, but happy with the purchase! May not last long though.
I've spent my life wearing no-show socks because anything higher was never comfortable on my "cankles," I'm not particularly heavyset, but something about my lower legs just never got along well with socks that go at all up the calf. I took a chance on these, and am pleased enough I'm back here buying a few more pairs. They are much longer than I expected; I'm 5'3.5" and they could easily fully go over my knee and another inch, but they have enough stretch that I can fold the extra back down and it just creates an added extra bit of compression (comfortably, not too tight) so I don't mind at all. They are also pretty thin material; they won't keep your feet or legs warm or provide any cushioning beyond being barefoot, but the plus side is that they are so thin I can easily put some no-show wool socks on over these and still fit in my shoes, giving me added comfort and cushioning. If you're not going to layer like this, though, they're going to be best for wearing around the house or something, they won't actually serve much purpose as "out and about socks."I do worry a bit about their longevity given how thin the material is, and I can already see a bit of the "hairs" of the spandex coming out of the heel when they are off my feet, but the price is pretty good and I won't need to wear them often, so it's a decent buy for me. But if you're looking for a buy that'll last you a while, probably go elsewhere.

The best
I have tried multiple brands of compression socks and BAMS is by far the most comfortable.I work with kids and am on my feet all day long. They are easy to get on. No struggling to pull up. I find the full sock does not slip. They do not hurt by pinching or grabbing the area around my knees at all. The support is amazing and at the end of my day I have zero leg pain. I measured my calf to 19.5 inches which the site says is an XL I was doubtful but figured I could return them if they didn’t work out. I was shocked that the fit was perfect.

NOT ITCHY, easy to put on
I have extremely sensitive skin with eczema flare-ups and I loathe polyester against my skin. Actually, I hate socks and prefer to go barefoot at all times. These I will actually wear - they're NOT ITCHY!!! and they breathe well. These are my first compression socks, so I have no idea how the compression rates except that they're comfortable and they definitely do compress by your ankles, you can get them on even with poor hand strength. I end up cutting the top off because they were too long and the toe just because, but they still work great. I absolutely loathe wearing shoes and socks, but I'll wear these. 10 stars.

Great compression
These work great. I would definitely recommend if your looking for compress socks. They are also pretty long. (Im only 5'1 and I was able to pull them up past my knees. So you don't have to worry if you have longer legs they will work for you as well. Only thing I wish they had was a little more of a non slip edge that might help.

Quality and Packaging
Very comfortable. Easy to put on and take off. I was concerned about packaging though. One pair was not in original BAMS package. It was repackaged by Amazon in their packaging. Did I pay full price for a repacked item?
